I stayed here about 45 years ago -- I think it was $35 a night and a bit of a dump. It is more expensive now but quite a lovely hotel with kind and helpful service near the heart of Boston.

The only complaint I have is that the bathroom was a step up from the room, which was hard to remember when exiting the bathroom. It could use a sign or some other reminder to step down when exiting.

Arriving early, my room was ready; however, it was a room facing the busy street, with an entry facing common shared areas with high traffic. As a single woman, I did not want an area with limited privacy; worse yet, an area with internal and external access to many- as well as noisy. Ben, at check in, easily resolved the situation without disregard. Alba at housekeeping welcomed me as I took the elevator. The staff and location make Copley Square Hotel a welcoming and safe place. Thank you.

The room was clean- bathroom way too small and uncomfortable (needs a better design). The lobby was ok- front desk staff, not too friendly. Elevator, not working at all times. Just not too happy with this hotel.

Had a nice stay, until checking out. Due to medical reasons, had to use valet parking, and upon leaving waited 1 hour and 5 minutes for our car, causing us to be late for an important medical appointment. Otherwise, had a pleasant visit.

Great small hotel. Good for an overnight. Has kinda of Euro youth hostel vibe with some old Boston mixed in.
No frills. No room service but there was a kitchen in the lobby for coffee and snacks.

I liked the location. Easy to access the T. Room could have lamps on night stands. The room was spacious. 611.
Disappointed that it didn’t have a restaurant or bar. It did have a guest kitchen with vending machines and free coffee/tea machine

Check-in was easy. Our room was on the 1st floor outside of the laundry area and employees were playing loud music into the early morning hours. Not pleasant. Won't stay here again. Room was very small, but clean.

We were put on the first floor and I knew I should have asked for a different room. Part of me wonders if we were profiled as younger and being people that would probably go out late but we are absolutely not and were in our room by 9. There was extremely loud music from some club on the street until 2 am and then at 5:30 the box trucks started to unpack right outside our window. Our tv volume was all the way up and still hard to hear. The shower took a long time to warm up and was complicated to use because I think the lever was broken. The toilet needed about 7 mins between flushes to refill the tank so that was unfortunate when we both had to pee upon arrival. My parents have stayed here before and liked it but I do not think we will be back.

Staff was great but the general manager is just horrible. First night, I was taking a shower and the tub started to back flow. All the disgusting goo from the stuck pipe started to back flow into the tub so I had to finish my shower with all the nasty stuff . They got someone to come and try to clean it. The guy tried for some time and poured bleach and other stuff down the pipes trying to dissolve what ever was stuck there. They didn’t have another room available so the whole night, the room smelled of bleach. The next morning , I brought up the issue with the General Manager, showing him videos of the whole thing and explaining the situation. His attitude was close to “It’s not my problem” and said he will investigate the situation and get back to me. Absolutely no contact from him for the remaining two days and NO sorry or any sort of compensation what so ever. The attitude and verbal exchange was absolutely frustrating.
