Copley Square Hotel, a FOUND Hotel

Cons: very noisy hotel, small rooms that could use a bit more cleaning, no room service or mini bar and smallish beds for two people. Pros: inexpensive (for Boston) and good location. I doubt we'd stay again.

My daughter loved this property. It had been updated quite well over the years considering its age. The only slight issue was the wait for the elevator occasionally.

I did not like the smell upon entering the hallway.

I will admit that the exterior and the foyer of this hotel had me doubtful but the rooms, despite being tiny, are very clean and very comfortable.

The room was small but clean. We were in town for a concert at Fenway - so it was walkable. We slept good.

Nice location

Big disappointment in the room especially the bathroom. Front of toilet 6” from wall. You had to hold on sink to wedge yourself in. Never again at this hotel. Had bigger rooms in manhattan! And no beer at hotel bar. Probably why it was empty.

This is a terrific find in the heart of Boston - small but comfortable bedroom, very modern and clean bathroom, reasonable prices, and a sensational location, with public transport, dining options and historic venues all right there. The front desk staff were lovely, all super friendly and very helpful. The brand name is right, this is a FIND!

Nice hotel in good central location. Room safe didn’t work on arrival in room. No problem. Staff upgraded to a better room with a working room safe.

Great historic hotel in very convenient location to walk to most sites. The room was super clean and had a very comfortable bed.

The photos of the hotel rooms were misleading. The hotel was portrayed at a nice boutique downtown hotel on the website, but the room was underwhelming and lacked the fit and finish for the price paid. The hallways narrowed considerably as you neared their end and gave off The Shining vibes. There was a refreshment room down a hall the lobby with a Folgers coffee machine and vending machines complete with drinks, snacks, condoms and Plan B. The attached cocktail bar, Hue, was disappointing and wildly overcharged (almost $20) for a watery Paloma with a fly floating in it.

Good location and staff is very nice

I think I was expecting something a little different... Our room had a weird smell and they used this odor remover thing both nights to help it smell better. It was likely the old carpets, but that also just made me feel pretty hesitant to walk around barefoot. The hotel otherwise was ok. It was very central to all of the restaurants, shopping, and transit. I would recommend just parking in the lot instead of doing valet....they just park in the lot across the way and charge a fee so you could save yourself some money and park yourself. We did valet for 1 night and then parked elsewhere the other night... Fortunately, because no one was there when we came back from our event. If you are going to an event and will be back after midnight, you'll be locked out. For us, we went to a concert at Gillette stadium and by the time we got back the doors were locked. Fortunately there was someone at the desk, but it took her a second to notice us and we had to show her our key before she would unlock the door and let us in. I guess that makes sense, but I've never been to a hotel that did that before, so it seemed odd. That was not something i was expecting. Overall, I wouldn't rebook, but it was ok for just a place to sleep.

Beautiful, historical property close to the Boston Public Library and Newbury Street.

Location was terrific. So many things to walk to. Quiet room. Parking nearby. Good deal.Everyone Helpful.

Great location

This hotel is great location. Pretty central to everything which is where the good stops. The bad is, only one working elevator that is extremely slow and takes forever, the room had a fairly strong scent of cigarette smoke that smacked you right in the face, their coffee machine in the common area sucked, the toilet caulking in our room was cracked and fairly sure water was coming from toilet, aaaand they’re transitioning their WiFi so we couldn’t connect and you couldn’t connect the tv to a streaming service at all. That and the stuff weren’t rude, but they weren’t overly helpful either.
