The bed was comfortable. The view out the window was awful, dead zone in between wings of the building. The elevators were not working. The ventilation/air conditioning system in the room was annoyingly noisy. The common areas are rather lame, very dated looking. But considering that hotel rooms under $200 a night scarcely exist in Boston anymore, this place might fill your needs

Great location, great bed linens … however: 1. I booked a Studio King room for 5 nights, and it had specific pics of this room displayed on their website. I also wrote to them 4-5 days prior before paying and checking in to the hotel asking if we could get the room with bay windows on each side of the bed ie. lots of sunlight, hence the extra charge. They wrote back, guaranteeing me that I would receive this particular type of room. Upon arrival, I was informed that there were several types of 300 sq ft King Studio rooms and that they could not promise me anything, despite already having done so in writing. In the end, I was not given what was promised in writing. 2. Two elevators - one not working, the second one very slow and sketchy. We ended up taking the stairs everyday from 5th floor. 3. They claim they have a bar/lounge and restaurant. They do not, it belongs to another entity and when you wish to bring your glass or bottle of vine upstairs to your hotel room, it will be in a coffee cup. Also, there is no room service nor an option to make your own coffee/tea in your own room. You have to go downstairs to first floor where there is a common room with a coffee machine and vending machines. 3. We had stains on walls in bathroom for all 5 nights staying there. I guess details are not important. 4. We informed the reception downstairs that the bathtub tap was leaking, it was not dealt with. 5. It has a significant smell/odor throughout the corridors and room itself.

Strange hotel. It was obviously a different usage before becoming a hotel. The layout is super choppy. The elevator takes forever. Just overall a strange experience. I slept fine and everything worked. I would look for a different property next time.

The self parking was a little confusing but totally not on the hotel!! Next time I’d for sure go with valet. Because the hotel owns a night club you could hear the music from it but it personally wasn’t that bad. The room was clean and very cute! The night manager who checked us in was very friendly

For the price and location, this can’t be beat. It’s a historic hotel so rooms are on the smaller side but clean and well appointed. Bathrooms, however, are uncomfortably tiny. There is only one working elevator which is very slow and I used the stairs most of the time (room was on 4th floor)—this might be an issue for some folks to definitely something to think about.

Copley Square Hotel is in a great location. Two of us stayed in a Copley King room. The room has a heavy musty smell. Bathroom is extremely small, especially the shower. We are both about 5'6" and barely 120lb and we had a difficult time using the shower because of its size. One of the bath towels was ripped. I really wanted to like this hotel because of its location and the look but I was disappointed.

Copley Square Hotel was okay. The photos online were more impressive than the actual hotel. The one elevator was very slow and the call button always went off after a few seconds, so you were always waiting for the elevator and never confident it was coming. The staff were all friendly, but they all seemed very nervous and stressed as though they were new or so busy I was an inconvenience. The location was great, but for the price, I was expecting a little more comfort and appeal.
