Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Grand Rapids Airport, MI

I didn't like the elevator keep making crazy noises the sofa had a big spot on it. We had to walk up and down the stairs because did not trust the elevator ok 😞

The staff were very friendly. I’m not sure if are remodeling but if not the property definitely needs it. The bedroom was clean and updated but the bathroom was not. Broken toilet paper dispenser, rusted out and poorly painted bathroom door. Shower had scratches all over the floor and though updated there was no shelf for soap, shampoo etc. The pool deck was completely filthy. The exercise room was in complete disarray with molding and equipment scattered throughout. It was definitely not what I would expect from a Country Inns. In its current state I would not recommend.

The elevator needs maintenance, it's slow and kind of creepy. There's supposed to be doors in the king suites but there wasn't doors in ours.

Terrible stay. Definitely not worth the price. Air conditioner was leaking water all over the floor. Their “solution” was to give us dirty rags to mop it up. Roaches in the room. Broken vending machines. Extremely thin walls, heard noises all night long. Accessible room has no bench or seat in the shower.

If you know what I know, never book a room here all bad I have my elderly aunt with me. The elevator never worked.

Horrible, just horrible! The property was dirty, literally garbage everywhere, overflowing trash cans, garbage all over the grounds, just everywhere. The breakfast was basic, which is fine, but when you have mostly cereal as the most ediable option how do you run out of milk? The AC is our room leaked badly, all over the floor the first night. We cleaned it up and reported it, never got fixed. Continued to leak the 2nd night. The staff: the woman the first night we got there was very kind. The guy the next morning, he had a nose peircing, was ridiculous. Went to speak to him about the AC issue he took not 1 but 2 personal calls while i was trying to speak to him. But my favorite was when the cleaner came to clean the room because we were supposed to be gone, when we still another night and I went to speak to him about it. No one was anywhere to be found with a hand written note be back at 11am.... it was 10am.... We left for the day at 1030, I was afriad our stuff would be gone! The guy that evening was very nice and helpful but had too much to do and was working alone. Our keys stopped working, the door wouldn't open he had to use the actual key and still struggled getting it opened. Major issue: The Elevator is down right dangerous! It made horrible noises, dropped when you reached your floor, was shaking, just dangerous! I reported it and was told "I've already put in work order for maintenance" we were there 2 nights and it got worse, never fixed.

Cheap no frills place to stay in the Grand Rapids area. The hotel is getting a bit old and could use some updating, but we would stay here again.

Rate was reasonable and the staff were helpful. Mattress was comfortable too but that’s where it ended. Doors in our room were poorly hung-bathroom door wouldn’t close. Outdated Comcast cable system required navigating to “view in hd” button. We won’t be back.

The night staff was friendly as could be but the morning gal was a bit hostile and wasn't a good first impression. The elevator was broken at points of the stay and wouldn't go down to the first floor or vice versa (luckily the door opened and we could get out). Continental breakfast was very lackluster with very few options and for some reason no plates were available so everyone had to use bowls for their waffles, etc.

The rooms were clean and comfortable. The only problem i had was the air conditioner did not work the first night however the changed my room the next day and the rest of my stay was fine . They offer a full breakfast and this particular hotel was with walking distance of a convevience store ,grocery store, and a nice restaurant and within a very short drive of several other placees to eat

Smells like cigarettes. Breakfast offerings are very scanty, although there are eggs.

Inexpensive stay and comfortable beds. Property is close to stores and restaurants. The walls are rather thin and you can hear hallway noise anytime someone is walking down the hall.

Nice rooms and comfy bed, breakfast could be better.

Staff amazing, unfortunately our room had such a bad smell due to the mini fridge. Elevator button was broken over night.

Only complaint was the lack of fresh coffee early Sunday morning.

Fast checking in and very friendly. Place smells very clean and visually clean.
