Rooms needed a good cleaning Pool was not open No coffee or breakfast Lobby area was clean Staff was friendly

I didn’t like that when my daughter called to speak with them about my reservations how insensitive she was that I had a house fire. When showering the water leaked from the side of the bathroom all the way out the bathroom. Air didn’t work properly and I killed a roach. I will never step foot on this property again I had reservations from 7/3 tihrough 7/15 I left the next day 7/4. Requested a refund but paid for 2 nights I didn’t use I was just glad to get my money back.

It was ok

Nobody was ever at the front desk when you needed something My room stunk so bad I had to get glade wall plugs, no toilet paper, I asked for my room to be cleaned 2 times with fresh towels when I actually did see someone at the front desk NEVER HAPPENED . Their breakfast was muffins or a bagel. Horrible place to stay pictures DO NOT match the hotel. Pool wasn't open Ceiling was leaking water I had to leave early couldn't even stay my full days I paid for HORRIBLE

Property advertised continental breakfast. And the property did not have anything! No coffee. And it was dirty.

Great service, clean and spacious room and bathroom.

Check in was fast and easy but the customer service was sub-par.

40 / 50, at best, you will enjoy your stay here. The place has friendly, attentive staff, yet it is badly in need of work and cleanong. It smells. It wasn't clean and it is beat up. It pains me to say so, as the staff really tries. They just don't have much to work with. This looks like a place owner/investors are draining everything out of, while putting little to nothing back. That is always a death knell.

Just noticed that there was old pee collecting around the bottom of the toilet. And it was obvious that the room wasn’t vacuumed. There was specks all over the carpet and a old dried up French fry. The pool wasn’t in working condition. The whole reason why I booked this room was for the pool. No coffee in the room. And none in the lobby as stated in the description. The breakfast was not worth paying the extra money for either.

The bed was not made properly upon check in. Looked as though someone had lay down on one side of the bed. The bathroom was dirty and someone had urinated in the toilet and did not flush. Dirty towels in the room/bathroom

Upon arrival I noticed some alarming things, yet I proceeded to check-in. When we walked in to the room, the room was dirty, there was holes on the couch, the pull out bed was not able to pull out all the way, and the door wouldn’t look all the way. At this point we weren’t comfortable staying. I had my kids with me and they were afraid and not comfortable with staying either under those circumstances. I went back downstairs and explained the situation to the front desk clerk. She apologized and said she can check if there’s another room available but couldn’t guarantee there would be. I asked if we can get a refund instead of trying to look for availability, she said yes we can do that’s not a problem, but her manager (Jessica) is the one that can refund the transaction and she wouldn’t be in until Monday. I told her that’s not a problem and if she needs anything else. She said no she has all my information and she would give it to her manager.

first room given was still uncleaned, the second was muggy and moldy in between the beds and center nightstand. no bedding left for the fold out couch and the front desk only had sheets available, no blankets. Pool was not open, breakfast sign just said grab go and not full. Staff was nice- seemed like they were trying but just not quite up to par.

I arrived early at this hotel and I was told I would have to pay a 25 dollar early check in fee which I declined.i was awaken around 1am with the smell of smoke and after a few smells I noticed it was marajuana. The guest were actually smoking it in the hallway next to my room.Two days later I noticed my room wasn’t clean by the maid.So I requested my room be cleaned.After waiting for over three hours I was told the maid had left for the day. They gave me a room on the back side of the hotel. So I noticed a lot of transient people walking around at all hours of the day and night.i noticed a half naked woman talking to herself outside of my window.So I notified the mgr. The mgr did’nt seem to care that drug dealers were hanging out in the lobby at all hours of the night.I would never recommend this hotel with any of my friends or family.This place needs a new mgr and round the clock security.

The first room the bathroom door handle was broken. The second room. One lamp worked. The bathroom light didn’t work. We will not be returning.

Decent stay

We arrived and had to wait for someone to assist us because they were on a break. When she finally got us checked in we headed to the room and the elevator spelled very strongly of marijuana, along with the entire 3rd floor, and the room we were given was still in the process of being cleaned. Once in the room the toilet didn't work, the phone didn't work to call the front desk so I had to go back down to the desk to get help. We were moved to another room and although the 4th floor smelled better the room was not in good shape. Most of the electronics were broken in some way and the bathtub was full of rust so we couldn't even take a shower. I was not happy with this stay at all and will never stay at this hotel again.

Positive part is that the staff was friendly for the most part except when you had to manually open the door when the card didn’t work. The beds were comfortable and our grands had space to color. They should be at the front desk. However, that is not their fault since it seems that the poor management by the owners are putting one person at the front at a time. Breakfast was awful. It needs to say grab and go breakfast. The room was never serviced and we could tell that the vacuuming was not down before our arrival by the dead dried bug that was stuck in the carpet or the shower curtain that looked a little dingy. We stayed here years ago when it was Best Western Plus and newly opened which turned into a downhill hotel at the end, too. We thought under a different name it may be better. The grounds just didn’t need mowing, it needs landscaped redone. This hotel has a sign up to pardon their dust in the pool area. The price of $80 to $100 a night is too high. Treat this one like the Super 8 down the street...stay in it for 1 night if you are desperate and all hotels are packed between Shreveport and Minden. Close this hotel down and renovate it correctly.

The front desk person was my unhelpful and nearly impossible to find, and she stilled of wee. My room card did not work. The front desk lady used her key to let me in. The room was dirty and the shower bottom was dirty and corroded. The pillows and sheets were wet. OMG! lastly the refrigerator did not last. It was horrible. I would never stay again.

Checked in late and we were given wrong key and then wrong room key and she acted as if nothing wrong happened
