DoubleTree by Hilton Jacksonville Airport

I enjoyed my stay here because your front deck clerk was smazing. I got a room here because my flight was canceled.

The toilet was terribly stained on the inside of the bowl. Black dirt stains and many. Some baking soda and bleach would have gotten most of it out. The bathroom ceiling had cracks in it from an obvious leak. The pool was dirty.

I stayed at the Doubletree as it was close to the airport and I have always found Hilton to be great hotels. I was sadly disappointed here. We arrived at about 8pm in the evening and had to be up at 5am to catch a flight. When we got into our room the temperature was 62 degrees Fahrenheit. It turned the heat mode on at the aircon and set it to 85 degrees hoping it would quickly heat the room up. After about 40mins the temperature had gone up one degree. I thought I had done something wrong so I re-checked it and set it again. It still wouldn’t heat up so I had to turn it off as it was pumping freezing cold air into the room. This was made worse by the fact that there was one sheet and a thin blanket on the bed and no extra blankets anywhere. I rang down to reception at about 10:30pm but couldn’t get a reply. I tried all the numbers on the phone including housekeeping but couldn’t get anyone to answer. We tried to sleep and I managed to get about 2 fitful hours but my wife didn’t get to sleep at all as she was too cold. Really disappointed

The lady running the bar and grill was amazing. Her name is Pam. She was so helpful, cheery, and made us feel right at home. She is the reason we were impressed with the hotel. What I did not like....the hotel had such a horribly strong scent of air freshener. It was very strong by the check in counter. Our room was not too bad, so we were able to stay in there most of the time. Scented products do not work for people with asthma issues. It causes breathing issues.

The building was quite cold when I checked in at 8:50, and my room was even colder. The air conditioner was set on COLD and couldn’t be turned down, so I was freezing all night long. And the woman who checked me in was very grouchy, so I didn’t really feel very welcomed. I had a different lady when I checked out and she too was not very personable. I wont’t stay here again.

I was only there overnight to catch an early flight but the bed and pillows were very comfortable!

For this to be a doubletree is insane lobby is beautiful but when u step off the elevator it’s another story. I booked a king bed got a room with 2 queen beds the shower had rust in it. The room has no microwave and the bed was uncomfortable I wouldn’t stay here again. Compared to another doubletree I’ve stayed bf it needs much updating

Customer service was awful and disrespectful when I went to check in at 10:00 pm on Feb 10th ( Monday ), I booked from Expedia and they told me we were fully booked with a bad attitude. Then I knew their shift would end I went back and there was another customer service in reception she said ( No we have a room available for you ).

We only stayed 10hrs in the room. We never heard the airplanes. The staff at check-in were friendly and competent, making check-in a breeze. The room was clean. Beds were comfortable. Would stay here again if I were traveling to Jacksonville.

I like the nearby shopping and dining. I did not like that my toilet had stains and did not appear to be cleaned well. The toilet needed to be replaced.

The staff here is always so nice! And yes, I got my cookie!
