Friendly staff, accommodating to customers requests

Hot tub out of commission - not a comfortable environment around pool - restaurant food was good but over priced and the room wasn't very clean - no one answered any of the phones and no bedding provided for the pullouts. Had to go to the front desk multiple times to get service. Housekeeping tried to come in the next morning before we even checked out to clean - scared the kids.

Long wait for free shuttle 45 minutes. Not such around hotel to walk to groceries 1 1/2 mile away. Slow check-in process. $20 for a glass of wine that retails for $13 a bottle. Close to the airport. Big room.

There was a raw cent in the room But we like the little pool

I was very disappointed with my stay at the DoubleTree Hotel. The check-in process felt disorganized and uncomfortable, and the experience with the car attendant was just as odd. The rooms were very old, outdated, and lacked basic amenities like a refrigerator and microwave, which was surprising for a hotel with such a strong history and good reputation. Overall, it did not meet the expectations I had based on its name. I hope they make improvements to bring the hotel up to the standard it’s known for.

Terrible place to stay. I never write reviews but this one needs it. For me a bad experience can be carried by good staff but when they both lack here we go. Jacuzzi broken, coffee machine at lobby diner broken, door locks on room broke a few times and had to replace keys or get someone to open my room. Staff at front desk were terribly rude. Snarky and unprofessional. House keeping didn’t speak English at all. Took over 5 calls and 45 minutes to get someone to bring a pillow to the room. Overall save yourself the money and go elsewhere do not stay here.

It was a ice place to stay

First of all, the rooms do NOT look like the photos advertised online. We didnt have a refridgerator or microwave in the room when we entered. They eventually delivered both when they became available. It took a long time to get new towels/wash clothes delivered to the room. Overall, it was average. It wasnt totally horrible but I was definately disappointed.

Great area and hotel Especially if early off the cruise ship

I couldn’t get a blanket that I ordered for 2 nights, because I was freezing cold all 3 nights.I had no heat.I asked for my room to be cleaned the 2nd day and it wasn’t . I asked for a wake up call tha last evening I was there for the next morning and didn’t receive one almost missed my flight.

Room had hair stuff from another guest. Cleanliness could be better but awful

Geeat hotel....rooms need upgrading to present....and I stayed in a top Suite 0 ammenities other than a small coffee maker the bathroom for q Suite and price was like a half bath at any average home...felt and looked very dated.

The entire property has a modern design and feel. The cookies were everything i was told!

I love the cleanliness of the hotel as well as the convenience of the shopping boutiques in the HOTEL!

Has everything one needs

This hotel was one of the best I’ve stayed at in a while. The complimentary shuttle arrived quickly, and the ride from the airport was very short. Check-in was quick and easy. I received a really convenient room with complimentary water, which had everything I needed and was very comfortable. I had a late dinner at the onsite restaurant, and it was absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. I had wanted to go out, but I was tired, and I regret nothing. The meal was on par with the best restaurants, if not better, in my opinion. The included breakfast I had the next morning was also delicious and kept me full all day long. Having a UPS location in the hotel was a major benefit for me, as I was able to collect an important package the next morning with zero hassle. After that, checkout was quick and easy, and I was able to get a shuttle to the Port of Miami at a great price. The staff I encountered were nice, friendly, and accommodating, and they had all the answers to my questions. Lastly, I must mention the delicious chocolate chip cookies. They provided them generously, and I ended up buying three tins to take home with me. Overall, whenever I’m in Miami for business or pleasure, I will definitely be staying at this hotel..

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Food was delicious. The pool area is nice but could use some umbrellas. Unfortunately the hot tub was out of order and there was no hot water to take a shower in the evening.
