DoubleTree by Hilton Philadelphia Airport

I didn’t like the fact that they charge you $25 per day for parking 😡 and the facility needs a major upgrade! Other than that the hotel was ok!

So when we went to check in they gave us a room someone was in. Then we got to the 5th floor and kids running up and down hallway many calls to front desk and they still never told them to quiet down.

The individual rooms were dusty. When the air conditioner was running little black particles landed on the window sill. The carpeting in the room and hallway was in poor condition. The hallway carpeting had ripped. The overall condition of the building looked uncleaned and not up to date.The only good thing was the cookies.

Great area and quiet.

Near airport and they provide free shuttle

It was an average hotel with super nice staff. The bathroom left some desire for cleanliness and the toilet ran all night long, but I made it through the night.

Property needs some updating

We arrived at 11 PM after a long travel day and there was a very long line to check in – it took us over an hour and a half just to get a room that we already had paid for. There was no luggage cart and we had six pieces of luggage so that was awful.. when we arrived in the room, the room was actually nice but the water flow in the sink in the bathroom was just a drizzle and then when I took a shower, the tub filled up with water because the plug closed on m. And so by the end of the shower, the tub was almost overflowing. When I discussed these things, at check out, there was no adequate response – just a weak smile and “oh OK.” and lastly, but not of great significance, there were no warm chocolate chip cookies upon arrival as constantly advertised. For a Hilton hotel, this was a great disappointment and we will not use it again.

I was a little taken aback by the condition of this property. I usually stay at Doubletree hotels and this is by far the worst. The carpet in the hallway was filthy and coming up. I tripped rolling my luggage to the room. Wallpaper peeling in the room. Staff seem to be overworked at the front desk...always busy. Parking is $25/ daily....the system didn't work on any day i was there. Left having to buzz the desk and wait until someone opened the gate, coming and going. No fridge or microwave in the room.....something i have come to expect from Doubletree. Really needs to be renovated!

The hotel need to be updated. The bathroom walls had chipped paint on walls and the carpet in the main room had stains on it. It. For the cost of the room a night I expected more especially since it’s a Hilton corporation.

I haven't stayed at a hotel in pa but i didn't like the fact i paid for an overnight trip but to have to pay for parking was crazy. Not sure if there was a continental breakfast, either.

No issues , great location, clean and perfect breakfast. Not a fan of the $25 day parking tho especially when your paying a higher rate for a room . Should be included

The stay was ok, was not the best. Front desk staff was a bit unpleasant, they seemed bother when I approached to ask a question or voice a concern. I had a situation in which I ordered room service food at 8:30PM and they took my order and told me it will be up in 15 minutes. It never arrived. The next day I approached the front desk to voice my concern and the person with a rude tone asked for my room number and told me you weren’t charged for it, completely ignored the fact that it wasn’t delivered. Everything else was fine technically if you don’t interact with the front desk staff you will be fine. Everyone else was nice, restaurant staff especially the breakfast crew was great.

The property was fine. The buffet breakfast wasnt good. Save the $20.

Stay was what we needed for the night. Nothing more. Some staff was so nice and helpful, others were not as friendly. The rooms are fine, but the bathrooms could use some updates. The elevators were down regularly in our one night stay and the pool is too far away from the elevators and very public area.

Property was dirty for me and my kids and the was woken up by workers being so loud at 5am with banging and loud noises
