Adorable location and such a welcoming vibe! The staff were all incredibly nice, and what really made my day was that they gave my furbaby a little treat baggie—so thoughtful! It’s the kind of place that makes you feel right at home, whether you’re human or furry. Highly recommend!

This property was close to the area of town I needed to be in daily. The room was clean, the staff was courteous. When I need to come back up here, I will definitely book here again.

At first I was skeptical bc after I made the reservation I was sent a message I pick up the key @ One location “then drive to the Annex” to my room. Being from the lower 48~ I’ve never experienced that before. But I went with it. It was easy to find the main hotel & the owner was there with the key even thought it was 2:30 A.M.. he explained the annex was around he corner (not far) and even showed me a clear photo of what door to go in & which way my room would be. My room was EXCELLENT. Kitchenette , COMFY Bed. QUIET. Looking Forward to Next Years visit!!!

Can I say dump! Its in the middle of a bunch of houses. The office, if thats what you want to call it, is in the foyer of what looks like where the owner lives. Its run down and just nasty looking. Dust everywhere. The actual place we stayed was about a 4th a mile away. If you didnt drive, you had to walk there. I complained about having large luggage, and no car since we flew into Fairbanks. So we were driven in a nasty van. Got to the hotel and it looks so run down on the outside you can only imagine what the inside must look like. No elevator and we're on the 3rd floor! We had to drag all our luggage up 3 flights of stairs! I dont know how a hotel can get away with that. Our room was clean, but everything old. Not what we expected for $170! Dont stay in this dump. Only good thing is its close to the airport.

nothing good.the bed was a rock. the floor ha not been swept as dirt and dead bugs,.for the cost it was aweful. And you go to one place to check in and to call them whe you get there. tthen they tell you to go into the green house and she will meet you there. no signinge at all so you did not know what you were going into. I am very disappointed with expidia that you even suggest this place. We are not high end people or piccky, but this was the worst.

I reserved a king suite which advertised sleeping accommodations for five, which to me implies at least three different sleeping accommodations. When my teenage grandson and I arrived we had one king bed, no sofa sleeper, no recliner. When contacting the front desk, the young girl said it was a third party reservation, so not her problem, but mine and there were no other rooms available. After contacting Travelocity and they talked with the owner/manager, a nice older lady came knocking on our door several blocks away and showed us a vacant room upstairs that had two separate beds.

Overall fine. Our bedtime was excellent. Our niece had to sleep on a bed that sagged terribly in the middle. The only window in her room had nothing to cover so she had to sleep in the light, since Alaskan summers can be quite bright. Appreciated all of the hooks for coats in the entry and behind bathroom door. Clean, quiet, lots of outlets to recharge electronics, thanks.

The property on 7 gables assigned to has sink shared between bathroom and front sink wall, the water from front room sink is not connected properly and it is seeping into bathroom, making all bathroom floor wet, and it is not maintained at all. They are not cleaned well. 36 Stairs to climb to the 3rd floor, if you have to a carry a luggage to room upstairs good luck, no elevator. We can understand it is Fairbanks, but it could have been better for the price they are charging. Personally I don’t recommend staying in this.

Kinda janky but so is Fairbanks. Property, linen, furniture all in dire need of upgrades. It’s fine for a night or two in a pinch. Omg spiders… shower, bed, kitchen (basement unit). Reviews are fine or hate it. Wasn’t horrible, trying not to be picky. Not a Hilton. Room for improvement

The hotel has no elevator and is three stories high. The stairs are straight and steep. The manager and main part of the hotel is 0.4 miles away. Breakfast is served at the main hotel and quarters for washing machine and dryer are at main hotel. They do provide complimentary laundry detergent. The room had an electric stove, sink, glass dishes and cups, and a clean refrigerator. Located near University of Alaska campus but is about 5-10 minute car ride from downtown Fairbanks.

The property was different than what is advertised. It is not the Extended Stay of America chain. The staff was very nice. The rooms are at different location than the office to check in. The staff are very nice.

Large room with good beds and good shower. No air conditioning and it was hot. Screen missing on one window. Steep stairs to climb and no elevator so tough with suitcases. Jacuzzi tub with no grab bars was a bit hard to get in for short people. No breakfast that was supported to be included. Remote location with no vending machines.

First of all, it's not "Fairbanks Extended Stay", it's "7 Gables Inn & Suites"! When I made my reservations months ago I thought I was going to be at one of the "Extended Stays of America" places...I was wrong. It's a dated place as it reminded me of a place I stayed at in Germany last year. Also, the bldg I stayed in was not in the same bldg as b'fast and check-in was located. It's not in the best part of town but is close to the University (if that's a priority to you). The price was the best part and I now know why it was so much lower than other places. I had reservations for my return trip but I cancelled them and am bypassing Fairbanks all together. Alaska is so vast I decided not to limit myself.
