Four Points by Sheraton Destin-Fort Walton Beach

We really enjoyed our stay and loved having a balcony overlooking the Gulf. We will definitely come back and will recommend to others.

Great location and staff!

This hotel was so clean and the view was perfect. All the factors related to room was great BUT this hotel has a lot of hidden fees that makes you feel not that great when you checked in and out. At the check in we have been told that there is a 25$ credit for each day that we can order foods from the restaurant but after check out we found that there was a destination fee of 25$ plus taxes for each day!! So they charged 120$ for four nights and we thanks god we only ordered two days at restaurants!! The hidden fee was sooo high and this hotel fee is not cheap by itself so the feeling after having a perfect stay was not good for us. We loved Destination but this hotel charge you a lot more than just you are seeing

Check in went good and quick. We got to our room and the door was very hard to open. The room was old but clean. We out to the patio and was sitting for a few minutes then a awful smell of Marijuana coming from the 3rd floor made us go back into our room. The man smoking it was out on the deck about every time we went out so we could not go out on our own deck except for the last day before leaving early. Housekeeping was supposed to clean every other day but they only came 1 time out of the 5 days and never left us clean towels so we had to ask for them at the front desk. We were told we get a $25 food credit each day but when we went to order the bar/restaurant was out of coke, pizza's, crabcakes, and a few other items. 1 restaurant was closed down the whole time we were there along with one of the pools. When i called about the Marijuana smoking the girl asked me "What do you expect us to do go door to door to figure out who is smoking it?". This hotel has a Non smoking policy and Marijuana is illegal unless you have a medical card but its still a nonsmoking hotel. The tub was very slick and my husband slipped when getting out of the tub abd is now having to go to the Dr when we get back to indiana to see if his foot is truly broken because he cannot stand on it or put pressure on it. Noone at the front desk cared all they said was "Sorry to hear that". Thankful for the beach but we will never stay at this particular hotel ever again.

From the moment we arrived and Zion checked us in we were wowed!! He was so kind and helpful. Definitely made us feel welcomed!! Our room overlooking the ocean was perfect!! So relaxing and peaceful and other than the sound of the ocean it was very quiet. The grounds are meticulously cared for and beautiful to walk in. We enjoyed talking to David (the bartender) and Alec (another bartender) both very much. They were both so hospitable. The food at the hotel is delicious!!! Definitely 5 star!! Also it’s an easy walk out to the beach! I can’t wait to come back!!

We love this hotel, was our third time here and never disappointed!

Our door had to be repaired. The maintenance man came to our room and identified the problem quickly and repaired the door. He was a friendly gentleman and I appreciated his help.
