Four Points by Sheraton Destin-Fort Walton Beach

Racist personnel if you are not white, and you’re Hispanic or black worst place to be from taken away your food once you’re ordering at the restaurant bar or either being treated as nothing , not recommended

Stayed almost a week. The staff here; housekeeping, bar tenders, desk, and especially breakfast staff, were kind, accommodating, attentive and truly friendly. The breakfast buffet is great. So much to choose from, made to order eggs, fresh fruit, muffins, etc. The room had a spectacular view over the beach. Just an overall pleasant experience. Will definitely stay again.

The room was clean & comfortable, only took 1 star away for bathroom. It was clean but shower was small and absolutely no storage for your toiletries. I carry mine & ziplocked bags & had to remember to bring what I needed into the bathroom every time I showered or/and washed my hair. They did have large pump bottles of very good shampoo, conditioner, bath gel, hand wash & lotion so you can leave those products at home unless just have to use your own special products.

Check in was quick and organized

The door wouldn’t lock to the conjoining room, but they moved us, so it worked out. Dinner with free drinks and a discount was nice at the upstairs grill. Bed was comfortable.

The front desk staff were very friendly. Even though the fire alarm was going off in our building for over 2 hours due to a major lightening storm we still enjoyed our stay. We were given extra time for checkout the next day to enjoy the room and facilities longer.

Staff facilities and food exceeded expectations

Several disappointments in our one night stay. First, we get to the front desk and he says there is a $25 daily fee plus taxes ended up being $28.25. He then gives a card for a $25 credit in the restaurant/bar however, we had already ate and are not drinkers. Then it says it can't be used on the day you check out so that was a complete waste since we didn't use it. Then we get to the room and the toliet is messed up. They sent someone to get it working but we figured out that you have to keep holding the lever down for the toliet to flush properly every time. The shower/ bath area really needed to be cleaned better. There was also mold growing in the outside corner of the shower. There wasn't enough towels for 4 people. There were large gaps around the exterior door. The parking was awful. We stayed in the tower and there were no parking spots anywhere close. We had to park near the front check in area and haul our things to the tower. Tower parking has a clearance of 6'6" in height but the spots are really tight in width also. We just really expected a lot better accommodations, parking and quality for the high rates that we paid. We will be coming back to the area again and were really hoping this would be where we would stay during the next trip. The main pro was that it was on the beach but there are numerous other places on the beach at a similar or better rate. No perks for staying here for this kind of rate.

95% of our trip to Four Points was excellent! Everything is 100 yards from the beach. You do receive $25 in food and drink credit, but considering the prices of both, it doesn't go very far. However, $25 is still $25! The breakfast is amazing. The staff is great, patient, and polite. Like I said, an overwhelming majority of our state was top-notch. Our issues: Check-in is at 4:00, and we arrived at 2:30. Not a problem, we stored our luggage and were told we'd receive a call when our room was ready. We never got that call. Furthermore, we witnessed other people getting checked in early. Our other issue, our room was never cleaned. Not once. We saw housekeeping near our room every day, but never found our room taken care of. There's a sign in the room that says they'll be cleaned every other day, which is quite fine with us, but from Tuesday through Friday, no fresh towels or linens. Yes, we should have asked, but again, we always saw housekeeping out. Other than those two things, our stay we excellent and we'd recommend this hotel is a heartbeat. Between the staff, the food, and closeness ot the beach, it is a great place to stay!

We paid for a king suite but since we used Expedia, they said our room wasnt guaranteed. We got a 2 queen bed suite. The room was ok, nothing special. We wont be using expedia anymore

We stayed 4 nights and the first two the AC was not working they had to install a new one. One day we had to wait on maintenance to fix the toilet. The bathtub takes forever to drain. We cleaned our room and they did provide plenty towels but we never had trash bags. The location was awesome the two restaurants and bars were great as well.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! Two beautiful pools, 3 on site restaurants, balcony w/ beach/ocean view, private beach, and shopping within a mile of the hotel. Our room was rather large, with a bigger than usual fridge, and hands down the best mattress I have ever slept on in a hotel. Oh, did I mention that this place was very affordable too! We could have not been more happy with our stay and will definitely stay again when visiting Ft. Walton.

Rooms were clean, check in process was fast and easy, pools and bars on site.

This was a nice mini getaway for me and my husband.

On the beach, staff very freindly and helpful. It was a very relaxing experince.
