When we checked in we were given our key and were told to show it at the restaurant for half off. We did this at dinner and was told it was only good for breakfast. Then we tried to use our tv and it had no signal when we called the front desk they said we can move you (this was at 9:30pm so no we didn't want to move). Room was musty and a/c fan wouldn't stay on. It was not a good stay, very disappointing.

This place looks very impressive online bit, in person it’s absolutely terrible. The furnishings, if you can call them that, are busted up glued back together, trim flopping around, filthy, and broken or half worked. There’s a desk/table that was crooked, there was who knows what splashed and/or spilt down the front of it, the bedding looked as if a 3 year old had made it up, the “patio” is right there where people drive through the place and a great view of the traffic and cops busting people throughout the evening on the freeway was a pleasant view. The landscaping is non existent, and people were actually, at one point, sitting in our patio having a smoke .. of what, well, take a guess. The tb wasn’t working, either. The bathroom was so bad that I went and bought bleach cleaner at the local store. It had mold and mildew around the edge of the shower. I don’t want to sit on the toilet til I had cleaned it. Their toiletries were from the Dollar Tree. This is supposed to be a tranquil, spa boutique place but it was not even close to that. The Motel 6 had better, cleaner accommodations than this dump had. And. When I was trying to confirm my room, I was greeted by a very exasperated female that put me on hold for 10 minutes, then just didn’t answer the phone at all. Just avoid this place at all costs. It’s not what it seems from their web site. Look at my photos. That’s the real Gaia

Excellent Service beautiful property over looking Old Sacramento River.Clean Rooms Gorgeous grounds they are under a slight renovation but highly recommend.

At the desk, I was instructed to sign a non smoking agreement which included a hefty charge if violated. The first room they gave me smelled of cigarette smoke, the carpet was grossly dirty and there was trash from a smoker on the outdoor patio. The front desk put me in a second room which had "hardwood floors" and there was no smell. Greatly appreciated. However, a lot of trash and cigarette butts scattered around the property. I signed paperwork to take responsibility for my dog (which I picked up all waste from her). Seems the same could be asked from smokers. The paint in the room I stayed in had random other colors of paint in the entry way and bathroom. Could use more professional caulking. Cleaning staff does a great job with the outdated furniture. Furnishings purchased didn't match pictures online. Building B offered "lagoon views". Their water feature was very loud and woke me up several times. The heater woke me up too as it sounded like crackling fire. Your staff is excellent. Customer service is top notch as is the restaurant and staff. The rooms and bathrooms need an upgrade.

The jacuzzi was my favorite. staff were quite helpful and accessible.

For the price it was worth it but it is an older property. The building set up feels a little partner building-ish but I did appreciate the nicely kept grounds and the spa/massage there I would give a 10/10.

Bathroom was not supplied with bar soap or in shower soap. Bathroom door was broken and housekeeping walked in prior to checkout time. Front desk gals were kind and onsite restaurant was delicious.

We had some sort of food spilled on the drapes the heater quit working in the middle of the night while we were sleeping and the only option they had was for us to pack up and move to another room. The grounds had garbage laying around. I used to enjoy staying here but no more.

Stayed a week.. Loved how i was treated at front desk.. Very nice and convenient off I-5.. there is trailer parking in the front.. loved that! Lower floors have a sliding glass door.. it says yard.. but just a open patio with 2 chairs….Huge grass area for dogs.. but no trash area for dog waste.. No free breakfast but has a bar and restaurant on premises, you pay 1/2 for breakfast only in morning.. food is delicious.. free coffee/hot chocolate/tea at front desk.. no laundry but a laundry place near by.. i never tried the spa maybe next time.. overall i loved my stay and will return if needed..

Friendly, knowledgeable staff, clean room. Pool area is beautiful

We’ve stayed here before on several occasions and generally it has worked out. Currently our room on the 2nd floor is noisy and has a droning sound that doesn’t seem to go away. Very annoying and not pleasant.

We’ve stayed here several times and always enjoy the atmosphere here. Unfortunately, the heater in our room stopped working during the night so it was chilly, but due to the timing, it didn’t seem possible to report it. Still recommend this hotel. Great place and great value.

Rooms are clean and spacious

Front desk staff needs assistance. You can hear lots of sounds while trying to sleep from other rooms- walkways.

Friends had stayed here. Thought I’d give it a try. Pet friendly, large size rooms. New ownership in November so the interior and exterior renovations are being done now. Very old style YURT shaped quads of rooms. Nice thing is walk to restaurant and full bar on property. Can’t wait to stay again after renovations completed!!
