Grand Palms Resort

We enjoyed this property very clean and lots to do

Our floors in our villa were filthy so i called maintenance twice before they finally came to mop but my husband was there while they moped and all they did was run water over the mop head and wipe the floors. They did not use any floor cleaner so our floors were still nasty. We had to keep our shoes on the entire time. Also the people upstairs did something and made water drip down to our living room. It was enough water to soak 4 beach towels before they fixed it.

We had a excellent experience at Grand Palms Resort in Surfside Beach. Check in was fast and those who worked there were pleasant. We were in a one room place which had a king size bed and pull out sofa bed. It was clean inside. Service was excellent. There's a number you text and when we needed extra shampoo, towels, etc., they replied real fast and brought us what we needed real fast. The outside pool was very nice. They have activities every day, such as surfing practice. The beach was real nice too. Overall, great experience and no major complaints. Price was very reasonable too.

Room was clean and comfortable, all staff was friendly and helpful. Pool area and kids pool with lazy river was a hit with the grandkids. Daily activities were great and the daily morning voicemail announcing each days activities was very helpful.The only negative was our final night there was a family that checked in above us and was extremely loud, but not the fault of the resort. Overall great experience, we will be back.

It was great the only thing the main bedroom the king size bed was not good at all both me and my hubbys back and hips where hurting the whole time it had a sink whole in the middle of the mattress we try turning it over but it didn’t help they need a new one

Check in process very slow!! Understaffed. Requested late checkout of noon but was told my room key stops working at 10? What's the point?

I’ve stayed at this property twice. The first time was ten years ago. The pictures are accurate of what the property looks like. Please keep in mind that they do try to sell to a timeshare and promise all these things and even if you do that you don’t get everything. Was a great place for kids tons of activities and a short drive to the beach. Not really walking distance to the beach, but easy drive. Overall a great property and would most likely stay at it again.

All of the staff that we encountered were very friendly and helpful.

Poorly maintained, there were centipedes in the one unit. There was a sign on the door that stated it was going to be exterminated for bugs this coming week. Unfortunately, it was after we departed. A/C was not working in the other unit, that was taken care of promptly so we appreciated that. Check-in process very poor. You can't check in until after 4:00 we arrived at 4:30 and waited an hour and a half in line with only 2 people working the check-in line to get people to their units. However, at the counter wanting you to schedule a time to tour and hear about becoming an owner they were standing around talking, laughing having a great time. I was not about to waste more of my time listening to why I should buy into Wyndham Resorts.We had a 12 hour drive standing in line for that long was ridiculous! Improve your check-in process. Make sure unit is cleaned and smells clean, maybe spray for bugs more often. I would like to commend the young lady that checked us in. I wish I remembered her name. She was courteous, kind and always smiling even with the amount of people still waiting behind us in line. While some of her co-workers just stood at the counter they were not allowed to move from according to the lady with the clipboard.. It's all about first impressions people and it wasn't a very good first impression.

It was excellent! I gave a four for cleanliness because the unit had a weird odor at the entrance and at the first room. My husband and I couldn't use the second room because the bed wasn't big enough. I bought a scented oil and problem solved. Other than that, the unit was great!

The property was clean, easy to get around and write in the middle of things. We made several trips to the boardwalk and even enjoy the amusement park. Excellent excellent day.

Great Place to Stay Everything you need

Second stay here within 3 months my babies love it here The pools and amenities are amazing!!! Location is perfect!!! Get family getaway especially if you have toddlers

The stay here was amazing. I have only 4 complaints first one was hair was all over my bathroom floor, second the push button to turn the shower to the faucet in the tub was stuck and would not push in, so I had to run water in the tub for my 7 year old from the shower and that took forever. Third no dust pan in the kitchen. 4 the air was not getting cold but, I called maintenance and the guy came right on and fixed it. Overall the stay was excellent and those just were minor things. I will be staying here next year as well which will be my third year. I highly highly recommend the Grand Palms Resort.
