Hampton Inn White Plains/Tarrytown

Pool not in service. Concrete around pool and walk to parking lot in poor shape. Excellent breakfast and well staffed

Overall it was a good hotel for a quick stop. Rooms need to be updated and modernized. Staff was good and hotel was clean.

Never been to such foul smelling room. Bathroom was old and mouldy. Awful room service. We had to check out much earlier than planned because of the smell! Would never stay at this location nor would recommend!

Older building. Old short toilet was difficult due to my disability. Bathroom floor slippery. Dark carpeting made it feel dirty. Breakfast was ok. Staff was nice

The Front Desk people were really kind and helpful. I reported to them that there was some water on the floor at the end of my bed (carpet) but I did not report it until the next day. It appears that the refrigerator may have been leaking and got the carpet wet which caused the room to smell a little. It was late and I was tired so I didn't change rooms or ask to change rooms. The front desk people said they would get the room taken care of after we checked out. Decent hotel. My only thought would be is that if you miss your turn coming into the hotel, you are going to end up in a parking lot which is slightly down the hill from the actual hotel and if you have a problem with stairs that would definitely be an issue. I came in at night and it was difficult to see that and suddenly I was at a very steep hill and a lower parking lot.

Location great for access to Tarrytown train. Clean and friendly.

Old concrete steps were falling apart. Mold in bathroom corners

The ground floor reception area and breakfast area was decent, but that was it. Room dirty and very dated and worn as was most of the property. Very disappointing stay. Pool was closed and the whole area was disgusting. Never stayed in such a disappointing Hampton Inn.

The AC wasn’t working, room smelled. Pet friendly but has no space for dogs to go to relieve themselves. Employees were friendly

Very accessible, right off of the highway. The room was nice, bed was very comfortable.

The rooms seemed a little outdated and the bathroom was not very clean but overall I enjoyed staying there

The walk from the parking lot to the hotel entrance was very steep. There was no railing. I am in my 80's and found it difficult even with sneakers on. If I had had a large suitcase, I felt like it might have pulled me down. Also there were only towels for 2 in the bathroom. When I called for more, I had to go to the desk to get them instead of having someone bring them up. Bed was somwhat uncomfortable. Breakfast was very good.

The police are quick to give tickets for handicapped parking even if you have a placard. The place needs to be refurbished. The staff are ok.

They ran out of body wash i was not refilled, i asked room service and she said they simply forgot to buy it . Also the outside steps leading the to parking lot were falling apart, very unsafe, also very disappointed with the locations

I was unhappy with the stay at this hotel. The breakfast that was offered was very blah. Nothing ro get excited about. The rooms at this hotel need aome updating. There were no microwaves in the room, you had to go to the area where the ice machines were located. The hotel sits awkwardly on top of a hill.
