The service was subpar, and the ladies at the front desk were rude and not helpful. The alarm sounded at around midnight. It turned out to be a false alarm with no other explanation or apologies.

1) the power in the washroom didn't work 2) the telephone didn't work 3) there was a false alarm on the last day of stay. Can understand false alarm happens, but there is nobody explaining to or guiding the hotel guests

Nice view

The overall stay was nice ngl. Unfortunately the you may run into a couple of d head staff here and there.

Great ocean view room, but there are some bird noises on the other side

Worst check in experience in Hawaii, but other staffs are nice. Everything is up to a 3 stars hotel. Location is good, surrounding area is good. Lots of parking.

[良くなかった点］ 今回、朝食付きのヒロでホテルを選んだが、朝食のセットプランは2025年2月に終わったの事。お陰で1食用意（購入する）羽目に。宿泊料金も変わらないのは不満。何故、予約の時に反映されなかったか。返金して欲しい。アメニティは用意してきた方が良いです [良かった点］ 空港から近い。自然が多い。飲料水がホテル脇で無料て汲める（ポトル渡される）

Staff are very kind. Josiah at the front desk was great during our check-in. Beautiful view from the ocean front room.

When i book expedia it said balcony but gave no balcony extra cost, rooms are old with wall paper pealing and saw some roach come out behine tv table. Dusty around window and telephone no wiped. Only great was WS steakhouse

The hotel was in a very nice area in Hilo-on Banyan street where there is a row of big beautiful Banyon Trees. There is a really pretty Japanese park within walking distance. Coconut island is also a quick walk and a beautiful spot to enjoy. The dining options at the hotel are very nice. Staff is friendly

Bugs were in room. Do not recommend staying here.

Beautiful location on the water. Quiet, no noise from neighbours. Big beautiful 1 bedroom suite

Older hotel in a good location with free parking. Staff are super friendly and you can walk to a few beach parks and a park. They appear to be slowly renovating, but definitely needs some tlc. Our toilet sounded possessed, beds were just okay, and the ice machines were broken during our trip. This is our second time at this hotel and we’d probably stay here again.

Perks - nice area. Downfalls - no free coffee in the lobby. So disappointing! Rooms are old. Was clean though. Gym was nice. Okay place to stay.

It’s a good place to sleep, but they need to update a few things. Ice machines are on even floors, but no one tells you that, and then they don’t work. Neither do the vending machines. Signage would be helpful to tell us where to get ice.

There are very limited hotel accommodations in Hilo. The facility is old which is fine but it’s not being kept up well. Staff at front desk both at check in and check out were not welcoming or friendly. Housekeeping was very nice and did a great job. The groundskeepers also were around tidying and cleaning. The elevator smelled horrendous as was filthy. The out buildings where fitness center is located are crumbling… literally. Our room was clean on the surface but we noticed mold in the wallpaper our last day. It’s mediocre at best.
