Front desk was under staffed. Checked in at 7pm. Told us room was not ready! Checkin is at 3pm & the room is still not ready!? I made a stink & ended up getting a room in a few minutes. Was really off put by this. Stay was great though. Hung out on the steps with friends & at & drank our night away!

The property and the price were good, clean, and as expected. We had been out riding bikes on an 85 degree day desperately in need of showers before moving on to our planned afternoon/evening indoor activities. Instead of getting to check in at 3, we had to wait until after 6 (like many families that day) to get access to our room and shower. Kind of tied our hands preventing us from doing other things.

Got there a hour past check in and still had to wait three hours for a room to become available.
If you know you have two back to back sold out nights you schedule your staff accordingly.

The hotel is nice and conveniently located downtown with many restaurants and bars in walking distance. Also, very close to the Huntington Center and Fifth Third stadium.
Parking for check in is VERY limited. The driveway is too small for the size of the hotel. Valet was $32 but they were backed up and busy. Ended up parking down the street in a parking structure for $10. Just a short walk away. Just inconvenient with luggage.

First of all, valet parking just sucks! I don't want anyone riding my cycle and there's no place to park it. That should've been one of the first things they warn you about. Had to park in a city garage several blocks away because of a baseball game going on; and carry everything to the hotel on foot. Staff was useless and couldn't explain how to even FIND the public garage. The hotel is expensive and the breakfast is expensive (and not very good), as is typical with the Hilton chain.

Location was perfect for access to River and surrounding area. Very walkable to many bars and restaurants. Party in the park at the river on Friday night was great. Food trucks, river view-what else could you want? All staff were friendly and helpful. Valet parking attendants friendly and knowledgeable-Frank, Tariq and Jacob very helpful.
Highly recommend for a easy trip-Glass City Event Center connected and close walk to Mudhens stadium.
