Location location location! Very convenient to USNA and dining. It is a straight shot to the hotel if you exit the yard from gate 3. Staff were very nice. Rooms were small but clean. My only real complaint would be rooms are really dark! Walls were dark, carpet is dark, furniture is dark. My daughter thought the toilet was especially loud LOL.

Everything was great, except for the fact that our room did not have windows facing outside, so there was no natural light. Our window faced an indoor inner courtyard, with another room in our direct line of sight.

It was a beautiful, historical, elegant hotel. Very quiet and comfortable. The wine in our room was delightful! What we did not like was that there was no iron or ironing board in the room; we did not understand why. That is simply necessary for travelers.

If you are in town for your Midshipman this is a super convenient location! Close to the yard and dining. Valet parking was super convenient/fast.

The Inn was lovely and historic as promised. Loved the location to the academy for graduation and walking around the wharf. The valet staff were friendly, helpful. Front desk staff just as awesome. Thank you a really nice stay.

Check in at 4:00 was later than worked with our schedule and later than normal. No nearby parking and valet charged $50 per night. Valet lost our car keys but eventually found them. Was expecting much better service than we experienced for the price per night.

Be aware that there are 3 different buildings for this property, and they are all blocks away from each other. Upon arriving you will be met with a sign saying you need to go to the main building to check in. This is beyond inconvenient.
Once at the main building to check in, we weren't instructed as to which buiding our room was in, and we had to find it by a process of elimination.
While the buildings.and rooms were fine and of historical interest, you'd be better off staying elsewhere.
