I loved my stay at the Maryland Inn. Check in and valet is done at nearby Governor Calvert House. A quick 5 minute walk to your hotel follows. I had the standard double which was fine. My friend had the king and her room was easily twice the size of mine. Bed was very comfy, decor is top notch. I loved the historic photographs displayed in the lobby. In the morning we sat outside with our complimentary coffees on the covered porch and watched the city as it came to life. Lots to do, great restaurants abound, and the inn is at the center of it all. Highly recommend.

Loved the history of the property. The only thing I would add is that the bathroom could use an update. It was clean and functional, just a little worn but I would stay there again without hesitation.

We reserved at one of the hotels, but then were taken to the Maryland House, which is not handicapped accessible, and my husband uses a walker. The young man who helped us with our luggage and walker was excellent, so we were able to get our luggage up to our room.

Outstanding location in the historic part of town: walkable to everything I wanted to do. It was a hot humid evening when I arrived so walking from garage to main hotel to check in then having to walk to the building with my room was sweatier than I had anticipated. Single room was beautifully appointed and very comfortable.

I stayed in a king room in the Maryland Inn, which is separate from the check-in location of George Calvert. I loved the beauty and the convenient location— right on Maine Street and walking distance to many shops and restaurants. I appreciated the coffee in the lobby and the ability to sit outside to drink it while taking in all the passersby. I would definitely stay here again!

This property is perfectly located within short walking distance of the USNA, downtown shopping/dining and the State House. It could not be in a better location. The property is historic, beautiful and well maintained. The room was spacious, clean and did not feel tired or in need of a refresh. We were absolutely thrilled with the property and will stay here every time we are back in town.

The only draw backs were that there is no staff on the property and there was no closet. The rest of the experience was fantastic! Beautiful place, well kept, comfortable, valet parking, great staff at the check in location, best location! In the heat of Annapolis.

We stayed at the Maryland Inn. It is a perfect location for downtown. The building is lovely, however it is strange to have no hotel personnel in the building. The room was clean and as expected in such an old building. Bathroom was cramped. We were surprised none of the outlets offered USB ports and the awkward locations on the end of the nightstand meant chargers continually falling out, which was irritating. The internet was awful, so we ended up using a hotspot. There was a hotel directory QR code on the desk but when scanned it took you to an invalid code page. Housekeeping was in the hallway for a good 8 hours on Saturday and kept capitalizing the single elevator. If not for the location, I would probably not recommend, but as such, it makes up for the other inadequacies.

This is a historic hotel in a beautiful building. Therefore, I don't expect a generic, modern and spacious room. But I do expect things such as a door that locks, a clean bed and carpet and airconditioning that can be used (it was too noisy to use). A lovely building, but low levels of hygiene and maintenance.

I loved the historical building, but was surprised thinking I booked the one at Maryland Inn on the main street. I didn't realize there were multiple properties. Parking was not convenient & I would have preferred the other location. The Governor Calvert was comfortable but not an easy walk from the parking garage for someone with mobility issues so unfortunately I wont be able to return if I'm traveling with my mom or daughter. When making the reservation & getting the confirmation, it needs to be spelled out in larger font, where you're actually staying. And we arrived to the one location & were told we had to check in blocks away at the other location and then lug our bags to the other hotel. Other travelers were also confused. They do offer valet for $50/night, but the parking garage is approx $23 to park yourself for 24 hours, but a few blocks away.
