My daughter and I had a reservation in South Bend for this same stay and had a horrible experience. The hotel was one of the worst I have experienced. We booked our stay with Holiday Inn Express for the weekend around 8 pm Friday evening and everything went smoothly! The parking lot was well lit, hotel was clean from the entry to our room. Customer service was very friendly. Would highly recommend and will definitely stay again

Stayed one night for a business trip. Room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included. Nothing fancy but good. My only minor complaint was that I could hear doors slamming in the hallway. Otherwise, a very good deal for the price.

Excellent stay, wish I could have been there for longer!
Minus one star for loud pre-check-out knock followed immediately by the door opening and "Housekeeping!" (I didn't even have a chance to answer.)
Thankfully the extra bar was up, so she couldn't enter.
If check out is at 11, I'll be there until 10:59. Please don't knock, or come in at 10:40.

The size of the king suite was great, but the whirlpool had some sort of black particles that ended up coming out of the jets and into the water.
