Holiday Inn Express COVENTRY S - WEST WARWICK AREA by IHG, an IHG Hotel

I had a truly terrible experience at this hotel that deserves to be shared, especially for those traveling late at night. After a long 4-hour drive, I arrived at the hotel at 1:30 AM, exhausted and ready to rest. Instead, I was given not one, but two different keys to rooms that were already occupied. Yes—twice, I walked in on people who were sleeping, understandably upset and confused about someone trying to enter their room in the middle of the night. I had to deal with their attitudes, which I don’t blame them for, and I’m sure they’ll also be leaving negative feedback due to this incident. What made matters worse is the staff’s complete lack of awareness. No one seemed to know what was going on or which room I was actually assigned to. It wasn’t until I returned to the front desk a second time and firmly demanded the issue be fixed that someone finally took the time to double-check. Once I was finally in the correct room, I couldn’t even get a decent night’s sleep because the AC unit was extremely loud and made disturbing noises throughout the night. I frequently visit Providence, but I will not be staying at this hotel again. This experience was unacceptable, especially for a late-night arrival. I strongly urge hotel management to review its check-in procedures and room assignment practices. I also believe some form of refund or compensation is warranted for the inconvenience, the stress caused, and the poor quality of my stay.

Terrible breakfast on paper Plates with plastic silverware . Pool closes at 9pm on the weekends. Room was dirty , not enough light, no fan in the bathroom . All dine with Holiday Inn

Absolutely perfect!!

We had an excellent stay. The employee that checked us in was so nice and friendly and gave us some nice tips on a restaurant we were going to. It really set the tone for a nice experience. The room was clean and comfortable. I really liked then chaise that was in the room. Very nice addition. Breakfast was a lot better than I was expecting. Tons of options ranging from hot food to muffins and bagels to cereal. The pancakes were excellent.

Initially I was sure about this reservation, but when I entered the hotel it was clean, cozy, relaxing and the staff was wonderful. Professional and accomodating

Then stay here on an offer years never had a problem great place

Window unit mini-split heat AC ran all night. Not sure it was actually connected to the thermostat. Otherwise, it was a nice, short stay.

Good luck getting any sleep, and I was double charged and no one has refunded me that or my $50 dollars.

Shower didn’t supply enough hot water. That is only disappointment.

Overall good stay little loud at night probably because we were near the elevator. Overall a little wear but definitely clean and super friendly staff!
