Holiday Inn LOS ANGELES - LAX AIRPORT by IHG, an IHG Hotel

Upon arrival, the staff member who assisted us with check in was not a friendly person. From her condescending tone to her general rude manner we were immediately unimpressed by this Holiday Inn. I had a few questions about parking and the airport shuttle. The answers to both my questions were answered rudely. According to Expedia and the front desk clerk, parking was advertised to be $40 per night. This is not true. Upon check out we learned it was $44 per night due to extra fees. We were not told about these fees by the clerk at check in and there is no mention of fees on Expedia. We called the front desk to ask whether there was a place to access the restaurant menu and again were given a rude response. The proximity to rental car return is great but the traffic in the area is awful. Especially at the entrance to the hotel. There is a McDonald's drive thru lane which regularly blocks the entrance of the hotel making it difficult to get in and out. We have stayed at countless Holiday Inns across the country and would not book here again. Certainly not the same quality as other locations.

Clean, easy and friendly.

We checked in at 3pm, was notified that we had to wait for 10 minutes for room to get cleaned. We waited for 1 hour and had to check in with front desk twice. They told us they will call when it’s ready, never received a phone call. No shower curtain in the room, we had to call twice and waited 40 minutes for it. On the next morning, no hot water coming out and the water pressure was low, the mechanic said the water fob has to be replaced completely. We didn’t take a shower because of no hot water. It was a bad stay even for just one night. We understand that it’s busy and we need to wait for check in, but all other conditions add up together made it the worse experience ever. The staff were friendly but that’s it.

I like the fact that it was only couple minutes drive to the SoFi stadium and that it had a shuttle for that event.

The parking needs to be included with the stay I have to 40$ for parking which I already have a room reservation not happy with that.

The breakfast was worth the extra money - very attentive staff, good food. I had extenuating circumstances with my credit card and the hotel desk staff and manager were very supportive and helpful. Everything got worked out. I would definitely stay here again.

wifi was slow and the walls are so thin, you can hear the people next door and out in the hallway and vice versa, i can hear people in their rooms from the hallway very clearly. bathroom shower head could be updated, the water pressure is very low and when you flush, it makes creaking noises afterwards and sounds like it will explode. other than that, the check in/check out process was smooth and the parking system was easy. love the lobby as well.

Staff was friendly, gave us a late checkout, had a good parking, shuttle pretty good, close to airport… VERY QUIET, nice beds, close to a Subway, Starbucks…

Nice area but the front area is small McDonalds is the way but its convenient there for the food😬
