Hollywood Casino at Greektown

Towels were ripped with large holes, large bags of trash were left in the hallway, bed lines were dirty.

Horrible stay. Had people trying to get into our room twice during the night, people in hallways that were not guests, and room beside us had prostitutes showing up throughout the night

Very nice! Staff was hospitable and helpful.

The hotel was very close to the airport. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were nice. Parking is not the best and there is a fee associated with it. Parking is also limited as well. There is a an event venue in the hotel.

Going on a Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday will give you much fewer dining choices if you do not want to leave the hotel. Also while there were many great severs and dealers, there were just as many severs and dealers with no personality and had “attitude “ toward the guests. The hotel staff upon arrival went above and beyond to help with the check in process!

My room, though small, was immaculate, well-appointed, and had a stunning view. The bed was extremely comfortable, and I was amazed at the size of the large bathroom (I loved the shower!). My only complaints are that it was difficult to navigate the facility and that by the time I arrived all of the restaurants and bars were closed except for the one bar in the casino itself. I was also disappointed that I couldn't bring my drink back to my room. I also had to pay for parking, which I thought was supposed to be free. Still, I would highly recommend this hotel.

On February 12, prior to check-out, we contemplated extending our stay for an additional day. I reached out to the front desk on two separate occasions, speaking with two different representatives who both informed me that I needed to handle the reservation in person. They stated that if I stayed in the same room, I would not incur an additional deposit; however, a room change would require a new deposit due to it being a new reservation. Given our dissatisfaction with the original room, I decided to proceed with a new reservation. Jennifer the manager, refused to honor my new reservation. Jennifer's justification for this refusal was rooted in a desire to limit housekeeping services due to an impending snowstorm. Despite my willingness to pay a new deposit, she insisted that I remain in my current room, which would not be cleaned, ostensibly to accommodate her staff. I found it perplexing and unacceptable that my status as a paying customer was disregarded in favor of operational convenience. During this exchange, it became apparent that Jennifer's demeanor shifted once my boyfriend intervened, prompting her to acknowledge him and accommodate his requests—something she had denied me earlier. This behavior not only reflects a lack of professionalism but also raises serious concerns about discriminatory treatment based on gender.

Great place clean comfortable

this is my second time staying with the hotel!! everything was excellent no complaints at all. love the cleanliness & my personal favorite the view from the top floor.
