Only 1 elevator we were on 3rd floor and my husband has a walking problem

I’m writing this review to share one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. From the moment we arrived, it was clear this hotel lacks basic service standards. No one helped with our luggage, no warm welcome — nothing. We had to carry everything ourselves. The biggest issue: the elevators. There are three elevators, but only one was working — and even that one required a staff member inside to operate it manually. No one told us this at check-in. We discovered it ourselves after struggling to figure things out. When we asked the staff member inside the elevator why it worked this way, he made a very unprofessional and inappropriate comment about needing money. That kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. Even worse, we later found out the elevators had been in this state for over two months — meaning the hotel was fully aware of the problem and chose not to inform guests in advance or at check-in. The lack of transparency, poor service, and disrespectful attitude from staff made this stay extremely frustrating. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the elevators under construction but that means they’ll be back better than before.

Great room, great staff. The only negative was they only had a small, single service elevator running, which made it cumbersome to get back and forth to the room. Overall a good stay and would stay again, once the elevator issues are resolved.

Close to airport and easy highway access to get over to St. Pete/Clearwater area.

This hotel was not a bad place for the money we spent. We took advantage of the free shuttle service that would take you anywhere within 3 miles. Don’t forget to tip your driver. Unfortunately the hotel was still dealing with some damage from last year’s hurricane. They got creative and had an employee working the 1 working elevator using ring cameras and I pad. We got stuck 1 time and decided to take the stairs the rest of the trip. Overall I would stay here again once the elevators are all back in service.

Elevators were not working - apparently for months. Not sure based on what visitors oay hey wouldn’t fix them. Rooms were nice and staff was great. Certain areas need updating.

Felt run down. Ring camera for elevator ? And only one working while I was there. Room felt humid and floor was lifting , which made a sound when you walked over it .

Centrally located to most places we went.

Did not disclose they were in the middle of reconstructing a portion of the hotel. There was also only one elevator that was functioning. That elevator had to be manually functioned by a worker through ring cameras…The workers were also rude and seemingly racist which made the experience worse. Do not recommend.
