The hotel staff is excellent. It’s old but right on the ocean. Very affordable for its location & you can’t beat Santa Barbara.

The parking situation is unclear, the bed was extremely uncomfortable, felt as if the bedspring was stabbing my back and the rooms could have had a better touch felt like a “flip property “

The staff was helpful and friendly. The view of the ocean from our room was gorgeous. We loved the convenience of the beach. Next time we will get a room with a "balcony". While we felt safe in our room it was a little disconcerting to have people walking by our window less than a foot away.

The pictures they advertise DO NOT reflect the actual stay. It was giving “we remodeled 1 room of each type and took pictures but didn’t bother to put that quality into the rest”.
Our bathroom was tiny, had a half, A HALF, of a sliding glass door so it was cold while you showered, the main light switch in our room did god knows what cause it didn’t turn a light on and the light in our bunk bed “room” aka closet was more like a strobe light. The place was dingy and dirty. The bathroom mirror was half painted like the painter just got bored and walked away! I swear half was the theme for this room. For what it cost, it is NOT worth it. We left early and noticed several others come up to complain about similar issues.

It was close to pier that has good resaurants. Close to beach. And can get room away from busy street so it is quiet. Has restaurant next door for takeout breakfast. Coffee maker and refridge in room. No elevator but valet will take luggage to room. Like that is an older building that has been updated. Has class.

Beds should be better at a hotel with this price point. Great location. Some parking on street behind hotel. Be careful of parking hours. Bikes were provided but of minimal quality.

Great location right across from the beach and walking distance to shopping and restaurants. The property itself is a 60 year old property with the attendant ills of an old property. The rooms are small and we could hear every foot step of our upstairs neighbors ( I think they were a family of full time residents ) . Our A/C / heating unit was broken so we were given a portable unit which worked fine. Our toilet clogged within the first hour and the staff quickly fixed it. The staff was friendly and quickly fixed our issues but the room ( a suite ) was small and noisy. So again this is a great location but old property and noisy if on the lower level.
