Awesome hotel. But the noise level was horrible from other guests up until 2 AM in the morning on the second floor. Wish the hotel could monitor that regularly to help avoid it so guess like myself wouldn’t have to ask those other guests to please be quieter. Love the fireplace in the lobby because it was so cold while I was there and love the coffee shop downstairs from the lobby. The hotel is awesome. My parents spent their honeymoon there 75 years ago. 😍

I’ve always enjoyed my stays at the hotel, Roanoke, but with the renovations taking place in the last couple of years, that hotel has vastly improved their rooms while maintaining the integrity of the period in which the hotel was built, and thrived. The staff is always super friendly and helpful, and it is just a pleasure to hang around and Have a drink, dinner in the beautiful restaurant, and walk about the grounds, even in the middle of winter.

Parking is too expensive.
We were unfortunate to stay the same night as some very rowdy youth, late into the night. Security could not seem to control them.

It was the weekend before Christmas and quite busy so dining on-site was not an option but downtown is a short walk away and room service was a nice option. Always a lovely stay at this hotel and the decorations were beautiful.

Absolutely stunning hotel! Loved the hot tub in December and all of the Christmas decorations! Very easy to walk to tons of restaurants, shopping, and bars!

The stay was fine but I didn't like where our room was located at the very end. It seemed loud. There was some loud noise sounded like coming from in the walls. Other then that it was fine. Also, it would of been nice to have the shuttle from the parking lot to the hotel running. It was a little ruff walking dressed up and extremely cold.

We chose to stay at Hotel Roanoke due to its history and location (near family house). It is beautiful and so nicely decorated for the holidays. The kids loved all the trees and lights everywhere. We enjoyed the comforting of the room and beds (sleep great!). Highly recommend this Hilton property if you are in the Roanoke area

Was very disappointed with the way no one knew how we were supposed to eat as far as us being guest of the hotel . We were treated as second class guests and sent to a dining room which the food looked as though we were fed the leftovers from the people who weren’t guest with reservations that were staying at said hotel. Christmas should be totally revamped at this hotel and guest should have proper access to food instead of being placed on a waiting list and never called . Or being told you can call room service. Very disappointed
