The only thing bad is they don't have ice machines on every floor which is so stupid. You cant tell me Hyatt cant afford to put an ice machine on each floor!

Everything was good, specially the girls in the front desk. We stay for three nights, however our room was not clean, the day after our arrival the room was not made and the next day after we requested the room to be clean, the bed was poorly made. We choose to be in a hotel so we don’t have to clean up the space. We did not have this issue before at Hyatt!

It was inconveniently located—getting there from downtown Chicago using public transportation took hours. I wasn’t informed clearly about the distance and lack of shuttle service or easy access, which caused unnecessary stress and wasted time on arrival. Staff were polite, but not particularly helpful or proactive. For a solo traveler relying on transit and hoping to explore the city efficiently, this location is not ideal. I wouldn’t recommend it unless you have a car or need to stay specifically in the Itasca area.
Also they were renovating the pool while I selected it while it was ok and they did not inform me and did not accept to compensate it…there noises in hallway during late at night by staff who supposedly were cleaning around mid night…I do not recommend it at all.
