Inn at the Highland Denver Downtown

The smoke detector chirped all night long even after having maintenance take care of it , one of the beds was broken only thing good to say is it was close to venue

Good location, nice for the price.

We booked it for the conviniese of location as we went to empower for a concert. But the is place is still like you are on the 70’s

This spot has a great location for walking to empower field. thats it though. our room was disgusting. we did not want to touch any of the surfaces. there were no bath towels in the room either. we had to hint those down. the faucets were leaky (both shower and sink) the neds were small (full not queen). the pillows were good! note:if yiu stay here the shell starion next door is a great spot for water/snacks, such a friendly family who runs the convenient store. the breakfast the hotel offers is lacking. gross overheated food. the pastry looked safe. front staff was friendly.

The room was really nice, spacious and clean. The staff very friendly and helpful. But the lobby, breakfast area (and the breakfast itself) was very underwhelming.

Very basic

The best thing I liked about this Motel was the location near the city, and the service was great, rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Bathroom floor was not clean, . Bathtub not able to bath with no stopper. Bathtub was grimy. No way to make coffee. Had to get complimentary very small coffee in lobbie and nothing else offered. Pool was not available to use either.

i love this old hotel i stay here frequently & i will continue to stay here great price best i found around here it’s an old hotel but kept real nice i guess it used to have a bad rep & was known to be sketchy but now it’s really quiet i feel totally safe here by myself!! the king size bed is very comfortable the shower is great & the tv is big pretty good cable too & it’s close enough to downtown but far enough from the noise & crowd of the city conveniently right off i 25. the entire staff is awesome very helpful & friendly i feel right at home while im there!

Room and bathroom was dirty

i have been staying here for a few weeks and i wouldn’t choose any other hotel for my extended stay it’s comfortable & quiet my king size bed is so comfortable! the entire staff is awesome always friendly & helpful!

Was good as always

This place has been going downhill for years and I think has reached the breaking point. Dirty, no maintenance on rooms missing amenities , terrible tv, dry pool, terrible tv channels (few and the guide is wrong) channels are not even blocked together instead making you search the entire range with some having signal most not. Small fridge freezer had some nasty brown stuff coming out of it.. never been cleaned or defrosted, door to room .. u can see light aound it and see where it had been pried open . Sheetrock screws holding pieces put back on the door stick through and can cut your hands, toilet tank lid hanging off, one towel rack bracket on wall and no towel rack. Toilet paper bracket on wall but no roller?? Was no ice bucket or trash can in room.. had to wander around looking for them myself. Feet instantly black walking on the floor in the room and can feel dirt and crumbs on your feet. Curtains coming off the wall, cheap sheet metal bed pedestals and frames and if you are having some fun sound like someone beating on an oil drum. They did have coffee.. nothing else, in the main area the first night, but on Sunday morning at 8AM NOT; just spilled coffee on the counter where the urn WAS at some point. I guess Sunday is THEIR day of rest ? No drawers for your clothes.
