Very nice and spacious suite. Our room was not ready when we checked in but the staff worked to allow us to use a different room so that we could shower and rest up from our traveling prior to heading back out to the Virginia Tech football game. Our room was ready before we left and it was perfect. Thank you so much!

Heard mixed reviews but decided to stay anyway because it was close to the airport. Staff was friendly. Halls and elevator could be a little cleaner, but the room was very clean and well appointed. Saw a review about traffic noise. Yes, there was some traffic noise. but that was understandable as it is close to the airport and highways. If you want quiet, book a hotel in the woods. I was very satisfied an I am very picky. I think it was a good value for thee money. I would definitely stay again.

Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. The place looked like renovations were being done. The staff was fine except for the evening person who would sleep at the front desk. Had to wake her up to check in. That was not the only time during our stay that she was sleeping.

The staff here were delightful. The front desk receptionist and the shuttle driver were just lovely people. However, that is all I can say about this place. It is old and my room was gross. There were stains on the ceiling, dust on the walls, it smelled like fast food. All the furniture and appliances ripped, stained, spotted, etc. It's very old and overpriced for the condition it's in. There are many airport hotels, I would choose another for my next stay.

It was okay. This property needs a facelift. The inside is very outdated. The walls are damaged and the elevator stinks. The coffee in the lobby is disgusting and they do not serve breakfast. The hallways look like they have not been vaccumed in a month. The property is loud from the highway near by.

Front desk person was asleep when I got there & kept dozing off trying to mess with the computer to check me in. She also was messing with the zits on her forehead and scratching her head. No sanitizer was available when she handed me my license back. No one wants another persons zit residue or hair chemicals, period!! Later that night, someone tried getting into my room because the same front desk person checked them into the same room I was in. Luckily I had just gotten back from dinner or else someone would have been in my room with my belongings. Then the front desk person called my room to ask who was in it.
I Did not get the room I reserved had on the 1st floor, was told because it was a ‘dog room’ and Was given another room on the 4th floor which was not the type I reserved, mentioned that and was moved to another room, still on the 4th floor. Couch was old, stained and sunken in and smelled like wet dog.

Be advised that although the pet fee is a one time fee for a 1-7 day stay, Expedia says the pet fee is $25 but it is actually $50. Great if you are staying 2 nights or longer, but steep for a 1 night stay.

We stayed here during a power outage at our house. It's a decent place and looks pretty nice for the most part. I appreciated the more homey feel. Having a full size fridge was awesome. The bottom shelf was broken but I found a way to fix it. Asked for extra pillows but never heard back. The coffee was like motor oil, nearly the complete opposite of what one would normally get at a hotel. Overall, the experience was just ok.

Free shuttle service to airport only runs on certain days. But Uber is about $13 and only minutes away. Morning desk clerk a great guy and was very helpful & kind. Room spacious & clean. Full kitchen with dishes & utensils. Very nice hotel.

My hotel room was great! Clean and very spacious. I was surprised at the size. I was also impressed by the amenities im the room, especially the kitchen! Front desk was very nice when I checked in and out. Will stay here again.
