The property was undergoing renovations. I was unaware of this at booking, but received an email from the property about a week before check-in.
Check-in was quick and the girl at the desk was courteous. She did advise me if the renovations at this time.
Room was clean and comfortable. It appears to have been recently updated. No water problems this time. We had them in our last stay. Bar staff were courteous, as usual, and attentive.

I stayed at the Marriott Saturday for the Jazz Festival and was charged $200 incidental fees. I was told I used the WiFi 3 times @$9.95 each time. I had not used the WiFi and didn’t appreciate Marriott charging me an additional $100 incidental fee.
Other than that, my stay was nice, the beds could’ve been a bit more softer/comfortable.

Great stay-some floors are being renovated-our room was on a newly renovated floor-beautiful! Loved the motion sensor lights that helped with nightly bathroom trips. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

New ownership from Omni to Marriott. Much needed improvement. Still remodeling but only certain hours of the day. Staff great from desk to restaurant/bar. Super convenient to Jax symphony across the street. Stay every trip.
