Worked perfectly for ZLB concert. Walk to and from ND was doable. Older hotel yet clean and cozy. Had 24 hour coffee machine. Fridge, coffee pot, and microwave in room. All staff was very friendly. We would stay here again!

I had a fantastic experience, From the moment I arrived, the staff was incredibly welcoming and professional. The check-in process was smooth, and I was pleasantly surprised by how clean and spacious the room was. The bed was super comfortable, and the amenities. The location was perfect close to great restaurants, shops, and local attractions. I also appreciated how quiet the hotel was at night, making it easy to get a restful sleep.

Room was not cleaned. You could tell - beverage rings on side tables, toilet paper roll almost empty, debris on carpet. The TV would not work properly. I went to call for assistance, but the phone did not work. I walked to the front desk. A maintenance guy came into my room and messed around with the remotes, he said he would be back. He never returned to fix the TV. There was also a loud house party next to the hotel. Would not recommend or rerun!

checked in by attendant that didnt say but a few words. The room was the smallest hotel room I have ever seen. Barely 1 1/2 to naybe 2 foot on sides of the bed to the walls and less room to built in desk. couldn't really use desk as the large microwave took half the space and the chair part was taken by the mini fridge. the desk top was dirty with sticky food and drink marks. The worst was the linoleum floor in entrance and bathroom!! FILTHY! Black hair on bathroom floor. in tub and in sink. Used a white towel to clean floor and it became increasingly dirty!!! Floor couldn't have been cleaned in a while!

We had a terrible experience. Woke up to pounding on our door no explanation. 1/2 hour later pounding on our door no identification of who it was saying they needed to come in and check on something. We were not opening our door without explanation. Found out they were looking for someone. Police were there. Got no sleep or apology

I did not like their breakfast foods no variety of foods every morning, same every morning. The room telephone is not working and it was dirty , ( foods sticked on the phone) the room TV is complicated to operate, is not working since I check in finally the night before I will check out someone figure out / fix it but only a couple of hours when I turn off back to the problem . It was middle of the night.The location is good near at Notredame.

In the four days of my stay, the room was never refreshed or cleaned. I had to use the same towels for entire trip. I ran out of toilet paper and soap and was not able to get restock. I never had this kind of experience before at any of my strays. My children was very unhappy. This was just some of my problems with my stay.

BEWARE. I booked two queens and non-disability room. I was in the lobby at 10:00 pm and they didn’t have any two bed rooms available- and all the other rooms had yet to be cleaned. FOUR HOURS LATER, after wheeling in a roll-away bed, we checked in and upon entering the room, discovered it was an accessible room.

Check in time was 3 PM. We arrived at 11:30 PM. Had given them a heads up that we would be there later. When we got there, there was no room for us. They said people were still cleaning the room. We didn’t get into our room until 1:30 AM. There were about a dozen other people in the same predicament. Not sure what their problem was, but they had given away most people’s reservations. The worst thing about it was the manager lady could care less how much we had been inconvenienced. We had to pay the full rate for a room that we didn’t even get to stay in half the time. Would never recommend this hotel to anybody. On a positive note the cleaning lady was super with an awesome attitude. She should be working somewhere else.

Unfortunately, I did not end up staying here. Although the hotel was inexpensive online, I was hoping it would still be good quality. When I arrived to my room the floors hadn’t been vacuumed. It was dark and dimly lit, so I went to open the window, there were weird smears of something on the bench and the window was dusty. The room despite not being clean was heavily perfumed. I have asthma so it was triggering for that and gave me a headache. I set my expectations too high. I ended up leaving about thirty minutes after I checked in and let the front desk know. I don’t mean to be rude at all, but the other reviews I read of this place were misleading. I will be contacting Expedia for a refund and will not be staying at the Microtel again.

A more affordable hotel in a city where they run pretty expensive. Basic facilities but clean. Breakfast included but extremely basic. I had a ground floor room that had only blackout curtains i.e. either dark with them drawn or no privacy at all.

I guess the expectation is to have a room that you believe no one has been in before … not about fancy or upgrades just clean and comfortable. That feeling was lacking added to that was no hot water in the morning and sub par breakfast. Marcus at the front desk was the bright light in a lackluster stay. Maybe there were problems but that should have been communicated. Better luck next time!
