A perfect date night escape for the night! The retro vibe and the two bar options are perfect! Go to a nice dinner in the City then perfect night cap and walk upstairs. The retro elevator was fun to experience! Would stay again!

While the staff was pleasant and the overall building was nice, we were not told ahead of time that the air conditioning wasn’t working. Our room was quite hot. The staff did provide a fan; however, we elected to not stay our two nights booked because of this. Additionally, the coffee bar advertised was not operational. This was a driving factor for our booking, so that was disappointing.

Very charming and vintage place to stay. No fridge in room or hair dryer or small things like that but very homey. Stay feels like you’re in an apartment rather than hotel. I loved the vibe!!

We stayed at the dean hotel for 3 nights and it was a terrible experience. The hotel did not have any amenities. There was no station to fill up water. They did not even have the basic amenities that a hotel should have. And it does not look like the picture on the website. We got completely catfished. Would not recommend this place for more than 1night. Never going back again. We were told that we would get 2 free drinks for the VIP access but the bar and restaurant was closed and they did not honor or tried to compensate for the service.

Beautifully unique hotel. I loved the character of the building. Slightly disappointed in the staff and amenities. Staff were very forthcoming with information or advice. Coffee shop was closed for the entire stay. Worth the location for any show at the VETS Memorial Auditorium.

Nice place. Pretty small. I did not hear anything from the karaoke bar downstairs. I would stay here again. Just wish they had a vending machine in n the property.

Looked much more like a boutique hotel online than it actually was. The elevator was difficult to use and did not feel safe. Staff was not interested in friendliness, very matter of fact in their interactions. Rugs in the hallways were ripped and gross.

The building is old but has a nostalgic feeling to it. The walls are thin... got to hear the neighbors through the night, and early morning as well as the pipes making noise when you use the hot water. But the bed was comfy :)

Got conned into paying $117 for parking, despite having stayed her before and paying $38 for overnight parking. Receptionist did not care and would not provide contact information for a manager. They also no longer have water in the room, nor did they give us the drinks vouchers thatI'm supposed to get from hotels.com. All in all this hotel has gone really downhill and they just don't seem to care.

No heat in first room which they didn’t apologize for. The vintage elevator is interesting but it takes a good deal of strength and maneuvering to avoid getting your hands jammed in the cage door which won’t stay open. Staff are barely there.no amenities like fridge, microwave, ice, coffee or hot water.

Was able to book this hotel at the last minute when delayed flights changed our plans. Very cool hotel with a slightly haunted vibe. Slept like a baby, very minimalist hotel and could hear all of the March “Madness” outside but the bed was very comfy. We were so tired we could ignore the painting of the creepy man next to the bed and by day two the exhaustion set in and we decided to take the spooky lift. It’s in walking distance of many restaurants and universities. I would definitely stay again.
