Place needs updating. Light fixture hanging down from ceiling, toilet was dirty, hard bed, large crack in ceiling. Gym had spare a/c units as storage, boxes, and little equipment. Staff at night was later back in chair watching phone, barely even visible. Could hear the person upstairs with every step. Place just not taken care of. Thankfully was only there for a few hours before early flight.

Staff was polite and made sure the breakfast area was well stocked and clean. Breakfast was yogurt, toast, waffels, oatmeal, muffins, coffee and tea.The room was clean and we enjoyed our stay. Try Los Compadres a few doors down, the food was excellent.

We had to arrive here early as we had flown in on a red eye. Normal check in time is 3pm but we had a wedding to get ready for. The staff were extremely helpful and were able to get us into our room early. I would definitely look to stay here again when I am back in Cedar Rapids.

We travel to Cedar Rapids frequently to visit family and have stayed in several different hotels along the way. This Quality Inn and Suites was hands down the BEST. In addition to the price being very reasonable and the property being very clean; the staff from the front desk to house keeping was so friendly, helpful and kind. My husband and I felt as though we had checked into a hotel full of friends. We have found our new " home" away from home.
