The front desk staff is very friendly. Room was a normal hotel room, nothing fancy but very comfortable. Looks like they are upgrading everything very soon. Breakfast was good. Again the normal free breakfast. The breakfast staff was also very nice and helpful. Overall a great value.

The outside sitting area by the pool had broken down tables and broken glass and was not visually appealing. The staff at the dining area were amazing, especially the lady the company just brought in from out of state. The front desk staff were all great too. Housekeepers did an ok job but room was not cleaned each day in some cases.

I've lived in Cedar Rapids most of my life, I needed a place to stay for one night before I moved out of state. I had heard they were renovating the property so I expected the property to be sub-par. I saw zero evidence of them working on the hotel. The whole building was musty. No lights on one side of the parking lot, rust in the bathtub, no microwave or fridge. They should close until it's renovated or at least charge half of what they are charging now. That proposed used to be gorgeous!

Staff made everything wonderful.
Even though construction and upgrading of the rooms was ongoing it was not noisey. Once it is completed, if staff stays the same it will be all fives!!!

Unhelpful front desk manager when thier credit card machine was not working properly causing difficulties checking in late in the evening. Extremely loud refrigerator when got to the room only to call maintenance to have him come to the room and tell us that is how it is supposed to sound. Paper thin walls that you could hear everything going on in the room next door. Looks like they are in the pricess of updating which is much needed as the room was showing significant wear and not very clean.

The room we stayed in should have been taken out of service. The bathroom ceiling was water damaged still showing signs of a leak. I asked to be moved rooms and despite housekeeping indicating there were available rooms, we were not moved. No further explanation or accommodations were provided.

This used to be a great property. Now, it’s a shadow of itself. No bar, no restaurant. Maid service every 3 days. Every complaint is answered by “it’s part of the Radisson renovation” but that has been several years in the making.
I hate to say this, but avoid this property unless you only care about a 5 story Hotel 6.

There was no room service for the four nights we stayed. No cleaning the room, no picking up the trash, no changing out towels.
The water in the tube dripped, the front doors were not working correctly. The breakfast was good but lacked choices and was mostly the same. For the price We paied I expect the place to be in better overall conditions.

I would stay here again. Its in the beginning stage of going through renovations. It definitely needs it as there were some issues that i noticed. Such as clogged sink and mildewed shower curtain. But overall i would give it an overall 7 for cleanliness. No bugs. And conveniently located near the highway. My family enjoyed the breakfast, the pool and the fitness area. I would stay again if needed. And the staff was friendly!

Air conditioning barely worked hot in our room! We were on the 5th floor furthest from the elevator. Ice machine was out of order. furniture old! the couch has had to been here for 15 plus years fraying! afraid of walking with no shoes on the carpet! shower handle
About to fall off was like something I would expect to pay $40 a night for! The lady at the front desk was very friendly only good thing about the place!

Loved the hotel. It is dated in it's decorating, but it is currently waiting for supplies. Only "con" is that only the suites have a microwave and fridge. We booked double bed room and did not have these items. Breakfast was nice; fruit, waffles, scrambled, eggs, bacon/sausage, juice bagels and toast. Would stay there again.
