Hotel was a disaster. They gave our room away. A visit to the bathroom off the lobby made it perfectly clear that we were dodging a bullet. A total sty. Will never reserve there again.

Never going back! Elevator was constantly broke down which is bad when you have young kids and your on a higher level. The pool was cold the hot tub was green and nasty looking with dirty looking foam on top the surrounding areas were not clean at all the window had green algae on it. The toilet was having problems in the room and the bathroom floor didn't look like it was cleaned from the people before us there was toilet paper on the floor under the sink. Staff was overall friendly though that was the only upside

Location was great for what we were doing, But we had 6th floor room hotel has 2 elevators and the one I got stuck in our 2nd night there and we heard from people that others had gotten stuck at least 4 times. Pool was freezing cold, hot tub was like 85degrees and the pool room was not heated well.

We were surprised to find out that the property had just changed ownership a few days before our arrival. They were still trying to honor reservations, but the restaurant was closed. The room we were i had some minor issues, but overall wasn't bad and worked for our one night stay. The hotel definitely didn't look to be fully booked, so i would think the new owners would go out of their way to impress the guests, but we didn't feel that was the case.

By far the most disgusting hotel I have ever been to. I left and bought another hotel. I’m hoping for a refund but even if I don’t get one it’s worth the cost to leave and buy another hotel to ensure I don’t bring back whatever they have in those rooms

Hated it. Ended up leaving shortly after arriving and they took the money for deposit. It was supposed to be 50$ and was 60$. I didn't stay, sheets were stained, bugs in cob webs, no restaurant available no river front view, the guy there didn't speak English, the hot tub had a slime ring around it elevator was very scary.

We choose to stay at the Radisson Grand Rapids each year when we are in town for a conference. It is an easy drive to the downtown event center and offers a significant savings as compared to staying in downtown proper. Even though it is an older property, we have found it to be clean and comfortable.

Worst hotel stay and experience of my life! Hotel was run down, dirty and disgusting! Property does not look like pictures on website. Check in was a nightmare with incompetent staff and very unaccommodating & rude management! They made us wait to go to rooms after check in stating they were still being cleaned and said they would call when it was ready. After waiting a long time with no call, we checked on the room and were told they gave away my daughter’s room to someone else AFTER checking her in to it! That caused our party to be split on 2 floors instead of the rooms we were promised. When I asked to be moved to the same floor as our other party, I was told it could be done with management approval, but the manager refused to approve it and assigned someone else a room on that floor as I stood at the desk! He then told me they were fully booked and there was nothing he could do. He refused to make any accommodations due to their mistake of giving away our originally assigned room! I was ingnored by the manager when I came to the front desk and he decided to text on his phone and would not acknowledge me. He was extremely rude when I asked how they were going to rectify their mistake. The hotel restaurant and bar that was advertised on the website was shut down; only offered over priced frozen and reheated “breakfast sandwiches” and coffee. Were kicked out of our room early by cleaning staff before we had checked out!

I booked this hotel for the restaurant so i didnt have to leave the property with the family for dinner. Unfortunately the restaurant isnt operational. It "opens" for breakfast where they only offer bagels and cereal for a charge.

I payed extra for the river front view, but they didnt show pictures of how it would look on the website when I was booking it, once I got into the room I could see why. No balcony, the sheets were barely even on the bed all the way, there was a bunch of gnats in the bathroom and the TV was very old, so we couldn't log in to watch any streaming services. This stuff wouldn't be the biggest deal, but for what ended up being nearly $200 it was absolutely not worth that price. I have had $70 hotel rooms with better views, a cleaner room, and nicer tv, etc., so it was okay for what it was, but very overpriced.

Booked a two night stay so my daughter and I could visit GVSU for a college recruiting trip. Hotel was in much worse shape than pictures depicted. I got the impression it was a rehab project and the owners were trying to turn it around but they have a long way to go. For the money, I think there are probably much better alternatives in the Grand Rapids area. Seemed like it was in a shady part of town. The elevator and hallway smelled like marijuana. My daughter felt unsafe at the hotel. If I had to stay more than one night I would have canceled and moved to a different hotel.

Location and price was perfect for what we needed. Front desk staff was normally MIA but it seemed to be due to short staffing and them doing other tasks.

The property is conveniently located right off the highway. The staff was unpleasant, they did not exchange our towels when asked to do so. No restaurant on site. The breakfast buffet is just a continental breakfast that they charge $12.99 pwr person. Not worth the price to stay here.
