It was really nice stay. I was there for 5 days. The only problem what that my door wouldn't stay closed and locked. The metal plate inside the door frame was loose, and moved about an inch both ways. I used the upper fold lock and put the chair against the door. My son went to b the front desk and requested it be fixed . It was fixed the day. Very happy with the quick service.

It was a good hotel although the carpet in the hallway needs replaced due to oretty bad torn spots.

Room had a broken heater. Neighbors both side were party all night and i couldnt sleep and then the heater quit working just like the last room i was in a week ago. Need to fix appliances this isnt good when temps are at freezing and also not ok with all night noise. Should be a cut off limit.. terrible terrible terrible.....

Hotel room and staff were lovely, but the rooms are adjoining and I could hear the young family who were up all night – they were quite loud, but the door between our rooms didn’t go all the way to the floor so there was little sound insulation.
I wish I’d remembered my earplugs!

There is toxic odor throughout the interior of the property.
Staff was uncaring and not helpful to a disabled elder
And if you book through a third-party expect to pay a service fee, that will be charged on your credit card AFTERYour stay.

Property outside and in main lobby were very clean. The room we were assigned to was dirty, the light switches were cracked and breaking. As well as a crack down the wall in the corner. We were also in a joined room with our neighbors and could hear all of the noises they were making. We could also clearly hear their conversation.

The room was clean and comfortable, and I was in wing 3, which was very quiet, so I slept well. Housekeeping was very late on Friday (around 3:30 PM) and not very thorough, but they were great on Saturday.
The rating is based on the food service experience. Thursday night I ordered a chicken club sandwich at the bar, and received a chicken burger, which was not great. I didn't eat at the hotel Friday, but our banquet on Saturday was a disaster. The banquet room was free by 4 PM, but the tables hadn't been fully set until after we were seated at 5:45. Salad was rusty, salad served before dressing, rolls served and eaten after salad, but before butter was provided. Our group got fed up with the delay and many got up and bussed the tables. Dinner was served between 7 and 8:30, and the vegetarian option ran out so they used a poor substitute. Dessert was just put into takeout boxes because everyone was fed up. I know you've already heard about this, and I understand they had a worker issue, but the manager should have been working on this problem during the 30 days after the employee walkout, not making excuses during our banquet, which had been booked over a YEAR in advance.

Room was nasty. Fridge was out of cabinet, obviously something wrong with it… it was barely cold. Rooms was VERY HOT, note on wall to adjust temp. Didn’t work. Slept w window open in January and room was still at 70. My dog was dying of heat! In bathroom, tile missing off wall. Carpet in hallway and elevator was dirty with stains. Called and asked to move rooms… supposedly none available…. Thankfully only 1 night stay. Will never stay at a Red Lion again. Thought they were a good hotel chain in the past. Not now! Oh and when getting into bed… the bed would roll away!

I have stayed at Red Lion since mid 80’s. Sadly this hotel does not meet the standard I have come to expect. The bed, linens were uncomfortable.
