Stayed 2 different times. The second stay was for 2 nights and whatever fragrance they use wore off and the old pet smell was pretty overwhelming.

Bed was terrible. Room was very hot, the a.c wasnt cooling very good & The bed was also was about 3 feet off the ground making it very hard for a pregnant women to climb on or my toddler to get down without getting hurt.
Restaurant food was horrible. Thereis no free breakfasr cost 50$ for an omlet, biscuits and gravy and a kids french toast. One decent thing was the pool, but people were outside smoking weed so it wasnt very kid friendly.
There wasnt anywhere to;sit in the room besides on the bed.
Definitely a bummer after driving 4.5 hours out of town

The girl at check-in was rude and they charged me a $75 hold for incidentals which I was never told about. She said "well, you booked on Expedia so you should have seen it. It was in fine print!" I didn't even book on Expedia, I booked on hotels.com. The room was dirty. The floor-after walking on it for an hour in the room my feet were black & I had to wash my grandson's feet three times before he left the hotel in 3 hours. There were things already on the towels and sheets like somebody had already stayed in there and use them. After I checked out and told them the issues, they said they were going to discount me 20%, but they discounted me less than that after playing in my account and deducting and then the putting back money and I had already been charged at that point!

We enjoyed our stay along the banks of the Spokane River. The on-site restaurant served a great meal and we were able to take our morning exercise along the River trail that was directly adjacent to the property. We'll plan to stay here again on our next trip to Spokane.

Awesome family hotel. The pool was crowded but it was 4th of July. Beautiful views of the river, play areas, nice outside seating for meals, and all dog friendly if traveling with your fur baby.

The hotel is great. The staff is great. Everything is clean and well maintained in the rooms, hotel, and grounds. There is an unbelievably beautiful and peaceful riverwalk behind the hotel. But... if you get much more than a block away from the hotel, things go downhill. Thankfully, the hotel keeps anything from becoming a problem on their property.

The hotel is great - clean, well maintained, and with a friendly and efficient staff. The grounds are immaculate, and there is a beautiful, peaceful riverwalk behind the hotel. The only issue is that the city of Spokane has some very obvious problems that they need to address. These make going more than a block or so away from the hotel interesting, and not in a good way. But there are no issues at the hotel or on the grounds, so your stay is pretty worry free. If you need a place to lay your head in Spokane, Ruby River Hotel is a pretty good choice.
