Scenic Hills Inn

Very good stay/ They have high ratings and I can see why/ Very friendly staff.

This hotel is an excellent value for the price. I could see that they have done renovations to update the property, and are continuing to do so. The room was very clean and comfortable, the hall and the exterior of the hotel were quiet. We didn't hear anything once we were in our room. Staff were wonderfully helpful and communicative. There was only ONE tiny detail that I would like to address: the small toiletries (shampoo, lotion, etc) were clearly left over from a previous guest, as they were half-empty. This may be a simple oversight by Housekeeping, or it may be a cost-cutting measure. Either way, it is minor, but worth noting. On another note: the in-room coffee was really good. It smelled good while it brewed and was above average in meeting flavor expectations. Breakfast looked great, but I only grabbed coffee and yogurt, so I cannot attest to the quality. My granddaughter, however, says the muffin and juice were delicious! We had three adults and our grandchild in our room, and it was spacious enough for our needs. I appreciate that the shower and toilet were behind a closed door and the sink and vanity were outside of that space. That made maneuvering so much easier! All in all, it was an enjoyable stay in a clean, comfortable, room that presented an excellent value for my tourism dollar. We would (and probably will) stay again!

I really liked the location of where the hotel was not to far from everything but yet far enough from all the noise & crowds. I really appreciated that when we had an issue of noise from ppl above us it was addressed immediately.
