The high cost didn’t reflect the expected value. External construction was going on and made the place look dilapidated. Paint cans, paint chips and rotted wood was exposed. The grassy areas had spray paint on them. No handicap access. Had to carry luggage up two flights of stairs. WIFI password was changed and we were not notified. My bill as messed up. With my stated pending charge of $760 was instead put in for $1,100. I called and was assured this would be corrected. Lastly, there was a trip hazard in our room. A lamp’s electrical cord was at knee level across the main walkway in our room. I unplugged the cord and reported it to the receptionist.

I needed to cook cook for a family reunion. I chose to stay here because of the cooking facilities and large fridge. Usually they have the badics, a cooking pot, a skillet and a strainer. Nope, we looked. If you pay for a kitchen, please supply the basics. Thank you. People were friendly, everything else was fine.

They were clearly in the process of renovating. there was construction debris all over.

I liked that the rooms felt like little chalets and separated from multiple others. They weren’t noisy and good sized. The outside of the building needed some renovations & the landscaping needs fixing. Our room was pretty clean except the kitchen in it needed a bit more tidying up. The walls could use some painting too. Otherwise it was an overall good day. I enjoyed having breakfast as well

Size of rooms and affordable

The room was absolutely amazing, but the condition of the room was not the best. There was stains all over the carpet the stairs had rips in the carpet. I don’t think it was worth the money that you pay for a two bedroom loft.

The desk and breakfast staff were all polite and friendly and professional, but the room and property are in bad shape. The room was disgusting. The kitchen was dirty (old spills down the cupboards, dirty silverware, someone’s food left in the microwave), the furniture was beat and tired, the place smelled like smoke and pine sol. The sheets and towels were clean and while the whole place needs a makeover in the worst way, the bathroom was clean enough to tolerate. I don’t usually make reviews good or bad, but this place was awful due to the condition of the property in general and the cleanliness issues in the room. Wish I had read reviews before booking. Book with caution.

Kind of meh. Stopper in tub broken so I couldn't take a bath. Gym had poor setup with exercise machines facing AWAY from TV. In living room, TV waaay too close to couch. Just a vibe of a place needing updating.

The room was nice enough and spacious, but the place smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. And I was woken during the night by marijuana smoke filling my room. Also, there’s a big kitchen, but no utensils or plates or pots and pans.

Nice breakfast. Working fireplace. Like a studio apartment, only better.

Hotel was great. My daughter also accidentally left her gold ring and staff found it and we wore able to pick up that was very much appreciated.

The room smelled like marijuana. We tried to stay in another room but none were available. They allowed us to cancel and be refunded but after a week i still was not refunded so I had to chat with hotels.com to be refunded

Room was really big, 2 queen beds, 1 sofa bed, big kitchen and 2 TVs. Worth it.

Responsive staff for issues in room. Clear that they are renovating a recently bought property. Standard and good self-service breakfast fare. Close to stores and activities. Quiet.

Very hard to figure out where room was but was nice once we found our room

I stayed at the property over Labour Day weekend. At 12:45 am there was water leaking from the light/fan in our bathroom. We had to rush to pack up all of our stuff, and move to a different part of the hotel in our pyjamas. The night audit was extremely helpfully and dealt with issue quickly. The next morning when checking out the manager was not there. I explained the issue to the front desk who told me she would contact the manager for the refund. The refund was approved and I was told I would need to contact Expedia for the refund. Expedia said the hotel charged me and would have to issue the refund. I made 2 calls to speak with the manager, both calls went to a voicemail box they was full. I left messages with the front desk. After not hearing back after 24hrs I called again, was transferred to the manager and again went to a voicemail box that was full. Completely unacceptable that the manager did not seem to care about the situation and made no effort to contact me. In addition to this, the first room we were in was not clean. The air vents were dusty, there was confetti on the floor, and when setting up the pull out couch there was a dirty sheet scrunched up in the corner and a large black bug of some sort. The dishwasher had not been emptied after the previous guest. There was food in the cupboards from a previous guest. In short, aside from the bed having been made and the fresh towels this room had not been cleaned. The bolt on the door was loose, safety issue
