The grounds were in terrible condition and there were trash items, weeds, Baron ground, building is not well marked from the parking area, making it difficult to find our unit.
The kitchen was poorly equipped unclean. I found a dead fly in the refrigerator and grease on the bottom of all the dishes.
The top rack of the dishwasher was broken and was difficult to use. The garbage disposal has not been cleaned properly and the skirt around it needs to be replaced.
The oven heated very slowly and made it impossible to bake seafood dinner.
The toilet paper and paper towels used shred while using them making them more of a nuisance than a convenience.
The hot water supply was variable. It took a long time to get hot water in the kitchen and the bathroom, causing a waste of water to wait for it to get hot.
I asked for two small items, which were two additional washcloths, and creamer package for my coffee. I was told that they were not available at the moment, but would be either late that night or tomorrow.
The main reason that we chose the Sonesta suites was because of the full kitchen. While basics were available, it was difficult to prepare a meal with a dishwasher that had a top rack that didn’t work, that is it could not pull it out to load it.
Additionally, we were not offered housekeeping services, and expected a knock on the door for housekeeping in the morning! That did not happen.
We did appreciate the very comfortable bed, and the location. Very sweet staff.
