We were able to check in early. Valet was great and we like the connecting walkway to Bally's next door.

The only issue was a non-working drain in the shower. By the time we discovered it, it was almost checkout time, so neither of us could shower

The Room was very clean and the ocean view was beautiful. The staff was very polite and very friendly. The only issue I had was there was only 2 elevators working for the guests and a group of soccer teams players for a tournament, Which caused a 20 minute wait. The other elevator.. The 3rd elevator was occupied for the Wedding party only. Also it was Valentine’s Weekend.. But overall, I would definitely recommend, And I will also be staying there again..

I really enjoyed my stay the first go around a month before this stay but this time it was left to be desired . I love the bar and high rollers but this stay from check in to the quality and cleanliness of the room and hallway area was really lacking . I came for the pool and it was really dirty oh well , great price good location not bad for what you pay for but I ended up leaving halfway through my reservation I just wasn’t happy .

I liked that it was a property with history but it is showing it’s age and is run down. The room was not very clean and it was freezing in the room. Granted it was freezing outside but cold air was rushing through the window. Check in took over 1/2 an hour and when we checked in there were only 3 working elevators. One was reserved for a wedding. A friend was staying at the hotel with us and they waited 30 minutes for an elevator to come downstairs.

The room was dirty, the hotel was dirty. You had to wait over 20 minutes for the elevator and it was jammed packed. The beds were uncomfortable and I barely was able to sleep. I will never stay here again.

The hotel was trash. The elevators were not working. The staff was terrible. They need to close that place down and do a complete remodel. I will never stay there again nor will I refer that place to anyone.

The hotel is well located, and the price is reasonable. The room was spacious and clean, but it felt quite old. One major downside was the staff’s attitude—they were very unfriendly and didn’t even make eye contact with guests. Additionally, there was a lot of noise in the hallway, and the hotel made no effort to control it. Overall, while the location is great, the service and upkeep need significant improvement.

Don’t stay here in the winter unless you want to risk freezing at night. Heat didn’t work properly. Room accommodates 4 and there were only 2 towels. No problem but it took several hours just to get 2 towels. Elevators are slow and the glass shower door felt like it was going to break at any second if you pulled it the wrong way. They really need to make some updates ASAP. It’s a shame you pay so much and don’t get simple needs.

Like much of Atlantic City, it seems The Claridge Hotel has seen its better days. The hotel has a marijuana dispensary in the building - which meant my young daughter and I had to walk through a constant cloud of marijuana smoke to enter and exit the hotel. Three out of the five elevators were broken - which in a big hotel meant wait times of anywhere to 5-10 minutes just to catch an elevator. The bathroom had mold in the shower - and it looked like they started to paint the ceiling and then decided to stop after the first coat just above the shower. Lamps in the room didn't work. Outlets didn't work. The message light on the phone was lit before we even stepped foot in the room and there was no way to shut it off so we just unplugged it. It was an utterly awful experience.
