The newly refurbished Nittany Lion Inn is beautiful and I highly recommend it. I graduated from Penn State in 1978 so I know the place well.

Absolutely loved The Nittany Lion Inn. Love the history behind the Inn and how beautiful and clean everything was. Our was was fabulous! Super comfortable mattress and pillows. The double sinks in the bathroom was an added bonus!!! Plush bath towels and the toiletry essentials that were included were great. Can't wait to stay there again!

Wonderful gem in State College! Luxury resort and fine and casual dining . friendly staff. Gorgeous spacious rooms. My only suggestion if there was an on site spa. There's a gym but would be great to have full spa amenities/pool/steam rooms/massage services would be fantastic !

The property is great, but the staff was not friendly and was not helpful.
I've never been in a hotel that they told us didn't have regular coffee in the morning, "only decaf."
