Service was ok while checking in, some of the front desk employees seemed aloof and didn’t care if you were standing there waiting in line while someone cut in front of you etc. Also upon check out there was no help offered for the 100$ hold that is placed on your card at check in (which they don’t even tell you about either). The room was beautiful but the air conditioning vents were super dirty and dusty and the cold air blew right into my face when it was on giving me a sore throat over night. If your turned the AC down at all (or the temp up) then the room got pretty warm pretty quickly. I also wish we given more that 2 washcloths for showering. Other than that all the other staff were super friendly and helpfull.

Used it for the last stop during my bicycle ride alone Erie Ohio Canal Towpath. The room was clean and the bed was comfy, with a beautiful view of Erie Lake from the room.

This Westin experience was stunningly disappointing. Starting with the front door the glass was dirty, then to the poor service at the front desk to room service lacking robes and slow to replace used towels. Almost everywhere there was inattention to details. I am a Bonvoy member because I enjoy and appreciate the quality service that comes with that name. The Westin in Cleveland failed to live up to the high standard of excellence the brand promises to deliver.

I was disappointed as I also viewed Westin as a top brand. Our hotel room had no cold water, yes cold water. We had to shower in much hotter water than I am used to. When maintenance finally arrived after the second time asking, the maintenance person said it is the mixing values that are broken and he cannot fix them. They did not offer us another room which I found disappointing. The bed skirt on my bed was stained and needs to be replaced. I will say, they had a person that was greeting people that was absolutely amazing. His cheerie attitude was infectious and he made my morning.

The hotel was very nice for the price we paid. We were in room #1420 which had a great view of Terminal Tower while laying in bed once back to the room which was an added bonus. There were some down parts, some small some big. The shower doesn’t have a full door, so if you’re tall like me the water splashes out onto the floor which just seems like an odd design. We were short a coffee cup and the hotel has no vending machines for drinks or snacks both of those were small. The bad, there were dogs on our floor or +/- one I’d say that were howling (and I mean howling) very loud multiple times. Once earlier in the evening, once at one AM and again in the morning. When we tried to call the front desk no answer. But clearly nothing was done about this and I won’t believe for an instant that nobody else complained. I get people have to travel with pets, but if you’re going to allow it, police it.

We all agreed that this was the best hotel we've stayed at!! I gave a 4 for cleanliness because of some socks left on the floor by bed but other than that it was AMAZING!!

So much trash on the carpets in the hallway. Running a vacuum has not been done in a while. Stains in sheets, and mirror had writing I. It from previous guest meaning not really cleaning. Overall just needs more care into cleaning. Right downtown is a plus, skyline is nice, just wished it was a little cleaner and not as dirty
