We arrived to the hotel a few hours before 3 pm check in. Not only were we allowed to check in early but received an upgrade of our room. It was quick and easy. The room was clean and quiet. the only negative for me was they don't have a coffee maker in the room so walked to the QT for coffee...which was walking distance. Will definitely go back again!! Also, minutes from Slug Bug Ranch!

It was fine overall. Some things to improve:
- We found and killed a roach in our room. Pay more attention to the pest control.
- It's too noisy and had difficulties to sleep the two nights I stayed. The neighbors are very noisy, not sure what happened at around 4 am today but the people staying in the top floor was like carrying big rocks. It wss very annoying. The first day we also noted that the noises make in others rooms were heard at our room very noisy.
The positive thing is the guy at the reception. Very cool and kind guy.
The room was ok overall. I would recommend it if you plan to stay 2-3 nights

Smelt like cigarettes, bathroom door handle was broken, would have been locked in if not for my husband. Luckily we were on the 4th floor because the window would not lock. Second room we rented the bedding reeked of cigarettes and doors safety latch was broken.

New hotel and for the price was a pretty great deal. You get a kitchenette (no dishes or utensils) for about 1/2 what the next cheapest hotel rate is.
The staff was very helpful and check in was quick.

There was no one at the front door when you got there get a call and then they tell you to wait outside until it showed up. When I got to my room, it smelled there was a human hair all over the bed.

WoodSpring advertised at Holtels.com they are pet friendly but requires $50 deposit in addition to a small daily fee. Upon arrival, I was told the $50 was a "non-refundable deposit". It was midnight but I refused to check in. The receptionist then printed me a "refund receipt", saying it will be refunded to my credit card. Later I found out the card number number on it has nothing to do with my card with Holtels.com. It was a number that I don't have. When the card statement came, neither Hotels.com nor WoodSpring refunded the money. Contacts with Hotels.com got the answer money cannot be refunded because the hotel has strict rules. Watch out, travelers!

I was charged by the hotel itself even after booking on Hotels.com. I showed them at the front desk I paid on the app. She said it was for incidentals and charged me for the room anyway. Even after showing the receipt. i called to the desk from my room after checking with my bank and confirming I was charged twice and she denied charging me. Went down to the desk the next am and they still denied charging my card. I'm pressed for time on my business trips and do not have time for this type of thing.

Check in was really fast. Liked that the door to the rooms area was locked from the lobby - good security measure.
Did not know at check-in that there was a kitchen, which made dinner very easy as I was carrying food on a camping trip. The light on the vent-a-hood did not work, but there was an overhead light that was sufficient. A bit noisy - roadway and trucks. TV would not turn on.
Showerhead had good settings and water pressure was great (2nd floor). A bit on the high side of economic for what you got for your money.

Arrived at 9:30 (check in 3-10:00) and no staff at desk. Phone for assistance and waited 10 minutes. Reserved 3 rooms. Not happy that two rooms downstairs and one room on second floor. Room had no ice (tray empty) no cups, no hand towels, only 1 washcloth and no hair dryer or iron. TV had no volume. Bed had one thin blanket & one thin bedspread. Air conditioner worked until early morning and then froze up. Getting dressed was hot & uncomfortable.

No hand towels. no facial tissue. no ice bucket or cups( paper or plastic). cost of drinks in the vending machine was outrageous.
I will not ever stay at this hotel again!
