— What You Can Expect —

Get ready for the scenic trip of a lifetime in Kuranda. Hop onto a Skyrail cable car and look out over Kuranda's magnificent rainforest, stretching across 7.5 kilometers.

Feel free to leave the cable car at one of the two relay stations (Red Peak and Baron Falls) to indulge in a healthful hike through nature. Head to the Baron Falls observatory and witness the grand 125-meter-high waterfall pouring down at breakneck speeds.

Pay a visit to the quaint Kuranda Village and explore the many charming gift shops and stores that sell eye-catching wares such as t-shirts, key chains, mugs, and more.

Once finished exploring the village, it is time to set foot on the Scenic Railway and cruise along the verdant rainforest that features over 1,200 kinds of flora, including orchids, figs, and palm trees.

Let your worries and stress melt away as you relax during the soothing train ride and rest, knowing that your tour operator is ECO Certified and is dedicated to keeping your surroundings as pristine as possible.

Meeting Time: 9:30 am–11:30 am (which may vary depending on the route and your hotel)

The meeting location is at your hotel within Cairns (the Skyrail starts from 10:15 am; please indicate your accommodation info in the Requests & Remarks section when booking. The pickup time and location will be provided in the booking confirmation email)

Duration: 7 hours

The returning location is Cairns Railway Station – Bunda Street, Cairns City

Each Skyrail car can accommodate 6 passengers (including infants)

After the Skyrail Rainforest Cableway ride, travellers will have free time to explore Kuranda Village. Make sure to return to Kuranda Train Station before Kuranda check in time (around 14:00-15:30)

This tour does not include a tour guide. As such, it is the participants' responsibility not to miss the train

Please note that the time of Skyrail, Train, and hotel pick-up time are subject to availability and may change

A one-way Skyrail cable car ride takes about 1.5 hours (including the time to visit the two cable car stations in between, excluding the time spent at Kuranda Village)

Umbrellas are available at the 2 cable car relay stations to accommodate rainy weather

It is prohibited to eat or smoke inside the cable car; travellers may eat at the relay stations

The Skyrail includes 2 relay stations (Red Peak Station and Barron Falls Station); travellers can disembark at these stations to explore the nearby attractions

The hiking trail at Red Peak Station is 175 m and the hiking trail at Barron Falls Station is 400 m
