Known for its blend of modern allure, rich culture, and breathtaking natural beauty, you can explore the city’s unique architectural styles, tantalizing cuisine, and bustling shopping avenues.

Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass temple

Situated in Johor Bahru, the Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple stands as a significant Hindu temple and a key attraction in the state. On 12 May 2010, this distinct temple was recognized in the Malaysian Book of Records as the nation's first and only glass temple.

Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Street

A beacon of Johor Bahru's rich history, Tan Hiok Nee Heritage Street is named after a city founding father. This iconic lane, with its preserved traditional shop houses, offers a blend of old-world charm and modern vibrancy. Famed for its authentic eateries and artisanal shops, it's a nexus of arts, culture, and gastronomy, making it an essential stop for those keen to taste the true essence of Johor Bahru.

Sultan Abu Bakar Mosque

The Sultan Abu Bakar State Mosque, also known as Masjid Negeri Sultan Abu Bakar in Malay, proudly stands as the state mosque of Johor. Strategically located along Jalan Skudai in Johor Bahru, its construction spanned from 1892 to 1900 under the guidance of Sultan Abu Bakar. Designed by architect Tuan Haji Mohamed Arif bin Punak, the mosque exhibits colonial English Victorian architecture, most evident in its minarets, which resemble 19th-century British clock towers.

Indulge yourself at the Johor Premium Outlets, where it's always a perfect time to discover hidden treasures at budget-friendly prices.
