Xuejian Recreation Area is located in Tai'an Township, Miaoli County. It includes the Xuejian Recreation Area and neighboring tribes on the northwest side of Shei-Pa National Park. Dahu Winery is located in the southeast of Miaoli County, surrounded by mountains and pleasant scenery. It is a winery transformed and operated by the Dahu Farmers' Association. It is the first winery in China to produce strawberry fruit wine and the only strawberry wine production base in Asia. Only Dahu, Canada and the United States in the world can brew strawberry wine. The biggest difficulty in the brewing of strawberry wine at Dahu Rural Leisure Winery is color control. Although strawberries can be made after pressing juice, fermentation, and 6 months of maturation, and removing impurities, if the fermentation process is not smooth, the color of the wine brewed is either too light or has sediment. Finally, with everyone's efforts, the first bottle of strawberry wine "Lake Berry Love" was born. The strawberry winery is full of Mediterranean style. The brewery uses transparent glass design to allow visitors to browse the entire brewing process. Nihonmatsu Interpretation Station & Maruta Fort Nihonmatsu Interpretation Station was originally a station during the Japanese occupation period. It was replanned to become today's Nihonmatsu Interpretation Station. Nihonmatsu Interpretation Station has rich cultural and historical sites, aboriginal cultural displays, and a magnificent view overlooking the Da'an River Valley. It is the best place for tourists to learn about the tribe and the national park. Walk 900 meters inside to reach the ruins of Maruta Fort. The fort was built from a high altitude to manage the Atayal people of the neighboring tribes. "Maruta" was named in memory of Maruta Kiyoshi, a Japanese police officer who died in the Battle of Beishi. The Interpretation Station has the "Maruta Fort Cultural and Historical Memorial Hall" to display historical materials of the Xuejian area during the Japanese occupation period.

Wenshui Visitor Center The visitor center has an exhibition room and an audio-visual room, which presents the park's geology, topography, flora and fauna, and cultural landscape resources in easy-to-understand texts and vivid and exciting pictures. Visitors can learn about the national park in the shortest time. There is an octagonal two-story building next to it, close to the ecological landscape lake, with an excellent view, simple dining, and national park publications.
