Meeting time: You can choose from 8am, 10am, or 12pm.

Meeting point: Ala Moana Bowls parking lot, near the ocean shower

Duration: Approximately 2 hours (including 30 minutes of safety instruction on the beach and instruction on how to stand on the surfboard)

Minimum number of participants: 1 person

This is a group lesson with one instructor and up to four participants.

- Lesson Information -

Almost 100% of beginners can stand on a surfboard and ride the waves.

For intermediate surfers, we teach how to find, catch, and distinguish waves, how to maintain balance, eye position, and how to choose the right surfboard, depending on your goals.

For advanced riders, we will give advice on where to take off, how to gain speed, how to turn, how to rip, and other habits.

Please wear a swimsuit in advance and bring your own towel, sunscreen, drinking water, etc.

To prevent any unforeseen accidents, please remove any jewelry (including any jewellery) before joining the event.

Before entering the ocean, please make sure you are in good physical condition by doing some warm-up exercises. The state of the ocean is constantly changing and there is a possibility of water accidents, so please enjoy surfing with the utmost caution.

Please understand that surfing is an inherently dangerous sport and that there is a risk of serious injury, permanent disability, or death if you participate.

In rare cases, surfing can cause a non-traumatic spinal cord injury called surfer's myelopathy (surfer's paralysis). Please be sure to read this before participating. If you experience numbness, neck pain, spinal pain or leg pain during the lesson, please inform the instructor immediately.
