Very good hotel, good cleanliness, polite staff. We stayed in the "Ocean view room" and loved it. Excellent ambience with the constant sight of the beach from our room Even the decor in the Reception and above the stairs was beautiful.
We received a complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate hubby's birthday and our anniversary, which was very thoughtful and a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend staying in this hotel.
Our only suggestion to the hotel would be to change the carpets in the rooms and the entire hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Stamford Grand at Glenelg. The location is perfect; right on the beach, close to everything, including the convenient tram to the CBD.
The hotel, our room and staff were outstanding.

Found the stay nice but very out dated and needs a freshening up there was a musky old smell from all carpet
How ever the rooms were clean and tidy access to pool was not inviting and could not locate the sauna and if they are office on that level the staff did not have a friendly smile it felt like I was in the wrong spot front desk team were very welcoming could make balcony rooms more relaxing with maybe bar table and chairs to enjoy the view if you don’t get the palm trees in the way and fix the rust on the balcony

Staff were out outstanding and very welcoming as well as helpful with all my requests. Some of the common areas need to be updated but is very easy to overlook with the stunning views. As you get out of the lift on wach floor there are windows overlooking the beach with seats to enjoy the view. I had a city facing room and spent a lot of time enjoying looking out over the hills and the city. Definitely a place I would recommend and be keen to stay again!

I had a great stay. I was able to check in despite arriving before check-in time. All my requests have been accommodated and I also got a room with a balcony which was an unexpected upgrade. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pool was great. I'd definitely stay again.

Great location, friendly staff and room for a family of 4 was so big, comfortable and roomy.
The weekend noise is an annoying but doesn’t last past midnight.
Other than that highly recommend it and we will be back!

Air conditioning was broken on our 1st night, we were moved on day 2 after technician tried to fix it for about an hour. We were moved to another room, however a king bed was not available or we had to go to a room without a veranda, which is hard to believe. That was very disappointing.
Rooms are also a bit run down, shower drains don’t really work and the bath doors are somewhat rotten due to excess moisture and water. Positives for this hotel is the location and outdoor pool.
