I have been staying at the hotel for several years, whilst location is fantastic, the condition of the rooms is becoming more obvious of age.

Clean and the staff so helpful. Aging hotel but full of charm and great value for money! Location is 5 star as you can step into a restaurant, the beach, on a tram or catch a bus to the airport all within 100m! Great bar and restaurant in the hotel. we got a free upgrade on arrival, so felt like royalty with 200 degree views of the ocean to the city! Breakfast is good, not overly fancy but completely adequate and family friendly. Definitely be back!

Wonderful location and beautiful hotel. Staff were friendly and always willing to assist.

Marketed as five-star, but the rating seems to ride on the location and not much more. Interiors feel tired, and the rooms lack luxury. Towels are rough and carry a lingering smell of cooking grease—more budget motel than premium stay. Coffee is reduced to a kettle and sachets; no pod machine. There’s also no visible effort toward sustainability—no recycling bins in the room or anywhere obvious in the hotel. Sleep is a gamble - noise bleeds in from every direction: promanade maintenance crews blasting music from their vehicles through night/early hours, late-night bar crowds, and poorly sealed balcony doors that do nothing to block it out. Ocean view rooms you can see planes flight path, loudly passing every few minutes. The balcony has no furniture, unless you’re dragging chairs back and forth as nothing supplied appropriate to be left outside. Overall stay was not a 5* experience—it wasn’t even close, I won’t be returning.

No breakfast,no beach view from room

The $30 per day for parking is very expensive when you consider how much it costs to stay in the hotel. The extras in the room are not replaced daily, shower cap, sanitary bag, vanity set. Was told at the grand bar we had a $50 credit for staying in the hotel only to find out this is only if you book direct with the hotel. Pool chairs broken and need cushions due to stretching make them quite uncomfortable.

The Hotel is located on the beach with fantastic views from the balconies. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast was great.

The rooms are absolutely huge and the hotel has an amazing location but the facility is very dated. Needs a fresh coat of paint and a deep cleaning. Everything seems like it’s stuck in the late 90s or early 2000s especially the beachside bar. The deal breaker was the bathroom cleanliness. This place was disgusting. Sooooooooo much hair on the bathroom floor (multiple colours too!). Seriously, I don’t think they clean the floors between guests. The front desk staff was extra helpful and friendly. Unfortunately, they’re not the ones cleaning the floors between guests.

Found the stay nice but very out dated and needs a freshening up there was a musky old smell from all carpet How ever the rooms were clean and tidy access to pool was not inviting and could not locate the sauna and if they are office on that level the staff did not have a friendly smile it felt like I was in the wrong spot front desk team were very welcoming could make balcony rooms more relaxing with maybe bar table and chairs to enjoy the view if you don’t get the palm trees in the way and fix the rust on the balcony

Very good hotel, good cleanliness, polite staff. We stayed in the "Ocean view room" and loved it. Excellent ambience with the constant sight of the beach from our room Even the decor in the Reception and above the stairs was beautiful. We received a complimentary sparkling wine to celebrate hubby's birthday and our anniversary, which was very thoughtful and a pleasant surprise. Would highly recommend staying in this hotel. Our only suggestion to the hotel would be to change the carpets in the rooms and the entire hotel.
