The staff were very helpful and friendly when we arrived. They answered all of our questions and made us feel right at home. The property and room were well maintained. I would stay here again.

I mean. Would I stay here again? No. But it wasn’t terrible. The pool is in the middle of the rooms where people can see you. The big pool. The small pool is awkward as well. The bar closes at 5. Which is dumb. I didn’t get a chance to try the restaurant but I heard it wasn’t that good. It was a lizard in my room. It gets the job done as far as a hotel but it’s nothing special at all. Very basic room. Luckily I was only there to sleep mainly. Because it’s honestly nothing special. The bathroom is small too. & the staff is ok, they seem like they don’t want to be bothered kind of. It’s nice that they have security all day. Also it’s kind of far from main town. So that’s a downside too. Overall I would give it a 2.5/5.

The stay was ok. shower curtains smelled like urine.

Food and drinks were in us dollars, and all the other places we stopped at was in Belize currency! Though it was a little pricey! Only eat at the hotel once because we were told about the pricing issue.

The property is in the vicinity of lots of restaurants. I highly recommend Garifuna Soul Food Restaurant. I had a King Room Deluxe which had a full kitchen with anything you need to cook, store and reheat your food. Thus room type really allows you to ger comfortable and store your belongings away. The concierge was very helpful with recommending dining options like Sweet Tutz. The food there was very authentic and reasonably priced! 1 of 2 pools on-site was open for most days of my stay. There is NO beach access from this resort. The phones were not working during my stay but the staff came to my room if they needed to relay a message to me which was helpful. I never dined at the property. The staff was kind and accommodating. The resort was very quiet so, I was able to rest well. I visited in May as a solo guest.

Unfortunately, the major complaint was the noise coming from the kitchen area very late at night. It started upon arrival, but we did not know at the time where the noise was coming from or what it was. It sounded like someone moving furniture and metal dropping to the floors, etc. In additional loud voices. It reached a peak on Saturday, April 25 going into Sunday morning at 1am. Our room was on the 3rd floor and at 1am on April 26, I went downstairs to seek the security guard, as the lobby was closed. I explained to him about the noise and he proceeded to follow me toward my room and he immediately recognized that it was coming from the kitchen area on floor 2. He said that he was going to ask them to keep it down. I expressed concern that this should not be happening this late at night, etc. Shortly after, the noise continued, but it was not long lasting. The next morning, I registered a complaint with reception and the rep was surprised and said that the restaurant usually closes at 9:30pm. That evening at around 10pm on Sunday April 26, the noise began again and seemed to have stopped around midnight. I knew it was our last night and upon check out on Monday April 27, I asked if the incidents were logged in and they had no record at all. In addition, the manager happened to be there and I explained the whole situation. None of this should have ever happened at a resort (especially very late at night). The complaint should have been recorded somewhere.

Bananas exceeded every expectation! The views were stunning, the vibe was peaceful, and the service was top-tier. Everyone was so kind and attentive, and it truly felt like a luxury experience from start to finish. Great place to relax and unwind! Already planning my next trip back!

Bananas on the beach was such a treat to stay at last week. Their whole front desk and staff were very sweet and were able to answer all questions. Upon arrival they took our bags to the room. The room itself was very clean and neat. The water pressure shower was amazing and the AC worked very well. The tv in the room is a smart tv and you are able to stream using your own logins which was a classy touch !! They offer laundry services for $10 a load USD , this was very helpful. The room service was excellent and super tasty. My partner and I are , already planning to come back and stay at this lovely hotel. I would recommend them to any and everyone !! They even planned with my partner and set up birthday decorations for me!

The mosquitos were everywhere. In room, bathroom room. EVERYWHERE

Really nice style convenient location right down the street from lots of stores and restaurants. The only thing I did not know was you cannot swim at the beach directly in front of the property but if you do any type of excursions the water taxes will pick you up right on the pier. The only swimmer Beach in San Pedro is a secret beach.

Great location very accommodating staff Hener was great and helpful bartender.

Staff were really friendly and helpful, and the room/property were very clean. They arranged the accommodations for my travel before hand so getting to and from the airport was a breeze. I highly recommend! Tip: communicate with the staff via email or WhatsApp as much as possible with the details of your trip in advance (flight/arrival and departure, etc).
